This handheld vacuum is a total bathroom cleanup essential! It's compact, lightweight, and effortlessly sucks up every last shedding or shaving of hair. The rechargeable design is convenient and it's so slim that I can leave it charged and ready right on in the corner of the counter. I would love to try on the stairs next. Great little vacuum!

This Dirt Devil dust buster is our second in 20+ years.
This latest design is outstanding in many respects:
Easy to operate, well designed for handling, easy to clean,
excellent suction, LED in handle indication showing when
operating and when placed in charging stand shows totally
charged (stops blinking). Wall mounting, or stand on counter
is well designed. However, after two days use,
the charging ceased to operate!
I believe this is an issue with the base connection. These things happen occassionally.
Have returned to Amazon for a replacement.

For what we use it for, this little vac does a very good job! It has good suction, very useful flip-up crevice nozzle and brush roll attachment, good battery life (about 5-10 mins on full charge even after 3 years use!), durability and ease of use. I do miss the wall hanger/charger option some of the B&D and other more expensive vacs offer, but it can be worked around. The filter is easy to clean out and works well. The dust cup is a bit small and without a tool can be tricky to clean out at the tip, but you probably should dump one after every use anyway!
We've been using ours nearly 4 years now--the longest running hand vac we've owned! There are more powerful vacs with more features and longer run time, but you pay twice the price and then the batteries often fail after a couple years and cannot be replaced (seems planned?). We definitely got our money's worth on a handy vac that does a good job! If you require a vac that does almost what an upright does, cleans a whole flight of carpeted steps, for large families, etc. then this may not quite do it, but for the average home this will do well!

I recommend this hand vac for carpeted stairs or other small spaces. Have not yet tried it in my vehicle.

It is smaller than I expected (replaced a 15 year old corded hand vac). The rotating brush does a good job fluffing up the carpet.
PROS: 1) good useful battery life -- vacuumed two flights of stairs in about 15 minutes (I am old and slow) battery meter showed 2 of 3 bars at the end. I would expect 30 minutes, probably more without the powered roller. 2) filter easy to clean 3) brush head easy to clean after reading the instructions 4) light weight and good balance (suggested improvement below)
CONS: 1) the power brush head lacks a locking tab, vigorous motion can cause it to come lose 2) does not come with a wall bracket for hanging it up to charge, should be for the price

FOR MANUFACTURER: the power brush assembly should have two slots aligned with the bristles on the roller, to make removing/reinserting the roller require less effort. The bristles are getting a lot of wear, and it may need to be replaced sooner than I would like. OTOH the fact that I can pull it out and clean it without tools is great.

I am pleased with this convenient little vac. It has strong suction and doesn't lose suction after months of use. Charges easily and is very powerful

The sucking power on this is not the greatest. I find myself having to go over areas several times. The attachment does not stay in the vacuum very well, and the extension also tends to collapse during vacuuming. It does the job with some effort, but the vacuum could use some improvements for sure.

This isn't some high-dollar, super powerful, long-battery-life model. At times, I wish I had a super powerful, long-battery-life model, but I have looked around at those. They cost $300. This cost less than $50. For the price, the power and battery life is respectable and the design is practical. This is a great general purpose handle-held vacuum. It isn't powerful enough to suction between keys of a keyboard, and the battery runs down on big jobs like trying to suck up wood shavings after doing a tad of home rennovation, but that puts a large demand on such a small vacuum, but it is more a convenient way to suck up wood shavings in areas not so easy to get to with a broom than it is the ideal solution for those jobs, but for day-to-day tasks of sucking up a popcorn spill and the like, it is perfect -- a very practical design point. Light weight, easy to use, fairly easy to empty and clean, fairly practical design., short battery life though so not meant for any large jobs where you may need to fill it and empty it several times on a single charge. It's not so powerful that it is going to suck up anything of value or catch something unintended in it.

My main desire for this unit is I wish it had a removable battery so that a spare could be on charge in the event the battry doesn't hold up to complete a task at hand. Overall though I have used this little vacuum many many times over the past 3 years. It is still as powerful as the day I bought it, even if granted that power seems moderate but I'd say moderate to strong. It just isn't really designed for holding a bowling ball and isn't really the solution for vacuuming a keyboard or a computer chassis, but it is perfect for around the house and is even respectable as a shop vacuum, though the shop is where it could stand to have a replaceable battery.

Received this vac and charged it It worked but not well. Suction was not the best as it describes.
If I had read the 30 day return policy , I would have returned it immediately!
Today I took it out of my car and it would NOT charge up or anything! Went to put in for a return and it’s too late! So over $ 50 dollars down the drain! Sucks!! Do not buy!!!!

I like this vacuum for the suction power which appears strong. I also like the fact the crevice tool is built in. I haven't needed to use the power tool yet but am sure it will work well. I did buy this for the much reduced price of "Used-Like New". It is working well after only a few weeks' use and am hoping this will continue. Would recommend.
