Searching for weeks on Amazon and I end up buying two BONECO (never heard of this brand before); S200 and U350 with doctor’s prescription. Yes I had coughing badly like allergy last year and start to feel very dry and little coughing this winter.
There are many cheaper or slightly cheaper humidifier with very good review too, however, I choose this originally because i want an ultrasonic humidifier with good size which “seems pretty easy to maintain” and “GOOD LOOKING”.
I like:
- Mist can be cool and slightly warm
- Mist coming from two 360 degree outlet (big/smaller), and you can set combination to have mist coming out whichever directions (two directions at the same time) you want
- Love the big top open space for me to fill in water with my 2L measurement cup (needs to twice to be full). Need only one finger to open. I wish S200 can do so too.
- It’s really good looking! I noticed there are models with very pretty prints showing on YouTube and asked BONECO Swiss company how to buy it - it’s not U350 but U200.. smaller and will come out spring 2018. I like this simple yet stylish humidifier, and may consider to get that for smaller space next year.
- Separate chamber for fragrance oil (I usually not the fan of frangance oil, but shall try other time)
Not so sure but not big deal:
- warm mist is slightly warm only; it’s not vaporate type of humidifier (like S200 I bought for my room) and the mist is not as warm as that.
- the touch-sensitive control panel is not super sensitive; seems one button (the desired humidity button) is a little less sensitive.
- BONECO app can only add one device! App can remind you of changing filter and some basic thing including manual. I was told the App will update to have more than you in Jan 2018.
