    Better than my Bose headphones
    5 Stars
    Better than my Bose headphones
Great first impressions! I'm comparing to my current Bose Soundsport wireless headphones and I will be selling those on FB marketplace as soon as I'm finished writing this. The medium sized buds they came with are just a hair uncomfortable so I switched to the medium+ size offered in the box and a much better fit for me. I tried all the other sizes just to see and this is just what worked.I downloaded the app and instantly did the firmware update. Once complete I started messing with all the ACN settings. I was in my car in the parking lot idling and could barely hear the engine in "transport" mode, when I got home I could barely hear the baby crying in "inside" mode so a big win there. To those that reviewed hearing a crackling noise with the ACN, did you do the firmware update? If so and if that didn't fix it, is your cheek touching the tip of the headphone? So far I haven't had any issues and I toggled with all the settings on the ACN and really happy with it. The only crackling I heard was when my cheek rubbed up against the tip of the headphones microphone and a quick adjustment in my ear fixed that.I haven't worked out with these yet but I did an aggressive head shake and with the right sized buds I didn't lose a headphone out of my head. A sweaty HIIT workout will be the true test later, but as of right now I'm not concerned.Lastly the EQ settings are great once you find the one that suits you. I personally liked the classical or R&B preset EQ but I ultimately just customized my own. Make sure you try different EQ settings with ACN on and off, they sound different so adjust accordingly. My one complaint is the touch settings, they could be a little more sensitive but it just might be me not tapping perfectly in the right spot. I do like that you can customize what the tap settings do to suit your needs.
    Thank you for your feedback

Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2022

Currently, these are all the earbuds I've listened to: Liberty 2, Liberty Air 2 Pro, Life P3, Airpods (3rd Gen), Airpods Pro (2nd gen) [not pro 2s], JLAB Air, JBL Free, and some other no names.

Originally, I bought these headphones at the price of $120. When I got them I thought "hey, these are a pretty good value for earbuds with noise cancelling." When compared to normal airpods, I preferred the sound quality of these earbuds. Of course the pros were better in terms of features, and my Liberty 2s were comparable. For all other buds I listed these are much better in terms of sound quality. Let's get into the features:

Transparency mode: The normal mode makes your voice feel boomy because of hearing your voice conducted through your cheekbones, but the vocal only is pretty good. This is probably the mode that you see the most difference between these and airpods. It's not the best, but it's usable.

Noise Cancellation: Pretty good, blocks out low noise, high noises get through. My roommate snored very loudly and when playing music it was tolerable, but it wasn't enough by itself. However I wouldn't be surprised if listening to the snoring raw was damaging to my ears (yes I know noise cancelling doesn't combat pressure waves, just humor me). I swear I could hear that guy from across the building.

Sound Quality: Pretty good. I've owned the m50xs from audio technica and while the Soundstage is not nearly as good, for casual listening I find these enjoyable. What's great about them though I'd the soundcore app has a huge amount of eqs and a customizable eq so you can make it sound the way you want. Also, for Android it does have LDAC support.

Battery Life: After over a year of use, it's still pretty good. I get a little over a day of pretty constant listening, and if I go to bed forgetting them in my ears with the volume low I will wake up and some days they still are playing. So best case probably around 7 hours ish for the earbud with no noise cancelation no LDAC and low volume. When you turn all the features on though it definitely drops the battery life, probably to around 4 ish. However the case charges really fast.

I thought these were pretty good for $120. Now for $50 with a 25% coupon they're a great deal. I might update this review once I get my galaxy buds2 pros in a few days though.

    (Edit)
I have had my buds 2 pros for a significant amount of time and I'll summarize the differences:

The transparency mode of the buds 2 Pro is significantly better, it feels much less stuffy.

The active noise cancelling of the buds 2 pros is marginally better but because of the size of the earbuds themselves the Liberty 2 pros offer more passive noise cancellation than the buds.

The size is a big difference for me as the buds 2 pros are much smaller and therefore much more comfortable to wear when laying down.

The sound quality of the buds 2 pros is noticeably better but not overwhelmingly so.

The buds 2 pros battery is actually worse than the liberty 2 pros.

However, the buds 2 pros are over $200 and the Liberty 2 pros can be found on sales for the price I stated originally. I do not think you get 4x the value for spending 4x the money, especially if you aren't a samsung mobile device user. There are some other features that the pros have (360 audio, find my buds) that to my knowledge the liberty 2 pros do not have, but the biggest thing that makes the Liberty 2 pros a great buy for the price is the customizability you have with the app, and solid performance for the price. Unless you have money to burn to get something that's maybe 1.5x as nice for 4x the money, I'd go with the liberty 2 pros. Yes, they are not the best in the market. But, they are still very solid and at a very steep discount compared to other buds.

I own several different Soundcore products, Life P2, Liberty Air 2, Q20, Soundcore 2 speaker. My wife has some Bose QC 35II headphones that I bought her, the big difference between them and the Q20 is confort. The Liberty Air 2 were great sounding they supported APTx and the Soundcore App, but my wife borrowed them and needless to say I will never get them back from her now.
I needed a nice sounding pair of TWS to replace the Liberty Air 2 and wanted to add ANC to the bag of tricks it could do. I was considering the Sony WF-1000xm4 but the price was causing me to hesitate, I thought about the Jabra Elite 7 Pro but they don't support APTx only AAC and I'm an Android guy. I looked at the Pixel buds Pro but for the price they couldn't deliver an equalizer or support a Codec for Android other than SBC.
I decided to try the Liberty Air 2 Pro it was $59 on Amazon and when I bought it there was an additional 25% off coupon, so even a cheapskate like me didn't have any reason not to try them. I will try to address different aspects of my experience so far with them.

Fit: Included in the package are 9 different sized ear tips so you can hone in on the perfect fit. These are a little different than the other ear buds I have in that they don't fit inside the ear canal, the ear tip is actually shorter than some others tips; because of this I needed to use a larger tip to get a good seal. Typically I use ear tips in the medium/small range when they insert inside the ear canal. For the Liberty Air 2 Pros I need a Large + ear tip to get a good seal. But because they don't insert inside the ear canal I personally find them more comfortable.

Getting a good Seal: the key to the ANC is getting a good seal. There is a function in the App that tests the seal. I find when I put them in my ears, I think I have a good seal then run the test and one or both are not sealed. Usually removing them and reinserting them I can get a good seal, I am improving gradually, it is taking me less time to find that good seal than when I first got them. But it worth it to me to go through the adjustment process, I wear them because my wife and I both are remote workers and I am trying to find a little quiet.
Update: 12/2/22 getting a good deal is still a pain in the rear. I tried SpinFit tips thinking it would easier and better, actually made it harder to get a good seal. I may try Comply foam tips next.

Sound: Full disclosure I have a little bit of high frequency hearing loss, so a bass heavy non-EQ headset just sounds too boomy for me. I appreciate the Hear-ID feature in the app that fine tunes the sound to my hearing. although I do think it over compensates and makes it a bit tinny sounding, but after the sound test I create an EQ from it and then tweak to where the high notes sound bright but not too high that get that tinny sound. I have the CODEC set to LDAC and it sounds really nice I can hear instruments that I hadn't noticed before in some older songs. My opinion is not the definitive of what sounds good but the sound is better than a a pair of $47 (with coupon) TWS earbuds should be expected to be.

The App: quit your complaining and download the app. The first thing you will do after installing the App is update the earbuds to the latest firmware. If you choose to use LDAC then you will download another update. The app also lets you tweak the ANC to find the setting that works best for your environment.

Summary: These are very nice sounding earbuds with features to rival competitors' that cost many times what you will spend on these. They are comfortable to wear and the battery last through a typical work day without any issue. The sound quality is excellent and customizable, these are my new favorite while I wait for the Soundcore Space A40 to go on sale. :)

I’ve had these for over a year now and love them. I use them for phone calls, noise cancellation and listening to music and podcasts. Calls are perfect. Audio reproduction is much better than expected and the app lets you customize to your preference. They are light, comfortable and stay in your ears. I regularly use them on 50km+ bike rides and 10km hikes. Great value!

Have used the earphones for several months, mainly to not hear the noise from my neighbor’s tv..
The sound quality is great, they connect without any problem to any Bluetooth-supported equipment, and I particularly like that one can choose between different sound profiles (i.e., complete noise cancelling or allowing some environmental noise - the latter is good for e.g. being in traffic and not loose awareness to sounds). Sound quality of the microphone seems ok - phone/zoom calls are no problem, the receiver could hear me (however, I cannot state whether the microphone quality is really great or not).

Mainly bought these because I got tired and achy from wing tipped earbuds. Satisfied with the app for it, good connectivity.

I bought these earbuds a good few months ago when my old wired Soundmagic E10 buds gave up due to frayed wires. Those lasted from 2012 to early 2021, and were... Well, magic! As far as sound quality goes, that's what these buds are compared to. It'd be unfair to compair them to a set of true headphones, for example.

So. These earbuds. First and foremost, no, you won't look weird wearing them. They actually look pretty discreet and like they're meant to be there. Mine are a dark grey, too.

Fitting - easy. They give you loads of "tips" to try on, just find what fits best. The app can test the "seal quality" too, but go with what's comfortable for you. Loads of choice. On the subject of fitting, I don't go running, so I can't tell you how they'd hang on. When walking or doing anything physical though, they just stay put and feel well rooted. I rarely need to adjust them, and when I do, I find it's pointless - they were secure in the first place.

Connectivity - simple, easy, and solid. I do get random cut-outs on my phone, but that's heavily modified and running a beta custom OS. A reboot solves it for a few days, so it's a glitch on the phone. My tablet is stock, and these are solid - even ten metres away. It's unbelievable. They've got a more stable connection than my Logitech G933s to my PS4.

Battery life. You charge the box, and it charges the buds up when not in use. Everything is extremely lightweight. I do a lot of walking, and use these for up to 90 minutes at a time. I've had the box go without charge for a week, and it charged back up in half an hour. The battery life is absolutely phenomenal.

Sound quality. That's the essential part. Now, this is a mixed bag for me, and you might find things a bit different. I have hearing issues, plus partial deafness in my left ear, extending only to bass frequencies. Anything that muddles sound means I find it really grating, and I can't hear lyrics. It's just noise.

These earphones excel. When you take them out the box and seat them in your ears, there's a few seconds while they boot up, then glorious silence. They just shut the world out. Fire up a high-quality stream or source, and you've got a tight, rich soundstage. The "HearID" setup is great, but I did tweak it further - the app is great for that - but if they'd add the ability to tweak individual channels and/or psychoacoustic systems, that'd be cracking for those whose ears aren't working quite right!

You'll have no problem getting what you want from these earbuds, they're rich across the range. I do find they're a bit harsh at the treble end, and not as clear and "spacey" as the Soundmagic E10s, but it's nothing uncomfortable. I'm just splitting hairs here.

Other matters - no more wires. Honestly, I didn't think anything of wires until I got these. I wouldn't go back... In fact, even though I have a perfectly serviceable set of these earbuds, I'd consider splashing out on the very best version right now in addition to this pair. One set for home used with my tablet, the better pair for general use. That's how damn good these are.

I bought these at £129, and I see they're presently £99. I don't have any regrets buying them at the price I paid - they're quality, and worth every penny.
