I was so taken in by the game I played it every chance I got, and I made it through one time so far. It takes a pretty compelling game for me to play straight through like that.
I read this was not considered the best in the series by some, so I am in for some WOW factor as I play the others.
Every actor was fantastic and the story was told in a very compelling way. I was telling my daughter about the first really bad thing that happened and I could tell this game was really reaching me.
Congratulations to the entire team for creating such a stunning game! I am going to seek out the other games, probably with my older daughter. We've enjoyed many a Sherlock mystery game, and I think she'll enjoy this, too, at least as much as I did.
My one element of feedback is that I could not see a way to skip the cutscenes. Perhaps this is enabled on replays. It will slow things down to have to watch them all in realtime again, especially those that were the same as the first playthrough.
2. Not scary except the same (literally the same) jump scare again and again.
3. Ending is disappointing.
4. Short games, ~4 hours
5. Bugs everywhere.

Although Little Hope falls short on length of the game-wise, it keeps its players absolutely hooked and gripped. It makes your heart pound for a character when you have to press the correct button for them to survive before they meet their doom. The whole game is very atmospheric and spooky. It is A LOT scarier than Until Dawn and Man of Medan put together!!
Until Dawn was a very good teen slasher horror game. But it wasn't scary. There was far TOO MUCH teen drama than actual horror. But I prefer holding the controller as still as possible than the mechanic in Man of Medan and Little Hope where you have to press X in time with the heartbeat on the screen.
Man of Medan was a bit more scarier than Until Dawn but its characters were forgettable. You didn't care if they lived or died.
But in Little Hope its kind of like in Until Dawn, you get to like the five characters and try your best to keep them all very much alive even if its kind of impossible.
Amazon's dispatch of it was something else. I pre-ordered this item 5 months ago, so I should have access to the Curator's Cut and a theme. When I received my copy on launch day there was no code in the box nor had I been sent an email by amazon with one. Supermassive Games have tasked all physical retailers with emailing codes to people, but apparently amazon isn't aware of this. I asked them about it and they lied a lot. "Your code will be with you in 4 hours" said one representative. "Here's a link to the Indian website you should buy it again" said another helpfully. "Call Sony." said another. "It will be with you in 24 hours." said the next. "No 48 hours." said the next.
Finally I phoned them and they said "You're out of luck, we don't have the capacity to send codes. Sucks to be you, you should have gone digital." No, really. Amazon had (and still have) a picture on their listing saying that pre-orders are given access to the Curator's Cut. But they won't back it up. I'm annoyed as I pre-ordered this back in May and I thought I could trust them, and it's not like I can just return the game and buy it again. After launch day I lost my chance to get access to the pre-order content completely.
It's weird because amazon us seem to have had no trouble emailing codes, but amazon uk are completely clueless. Thanks for wasting my 5 month pre-order and sending me the regular edition instead guys, really appreciate that
