Literally the only thing I wish this chair had, was higher air rests. But with that being said, that's me being stupid picky. Legit has helped alleviate my lumbosacral pain from a 9 to a 2. I sit in the chair like 10 to 14 hours a day. I absolutely love it and have zero regrets! I think the chair is better than buying new, as it's broken in and comfortable!!! Best chair ever and I don't think I'll ever need another one. If you're contemplating it, do it!! Best purchase ever and this will last for years, unlike those "gaming" chairs. Those ones Legit suck and are a waste of money.

Look if you are working from home and have spent more time at your desk than you ever thought. Do your back, backside and posture a favor. Buy this.. it will last far longer and will not leave you with pains of deflated chairs that wear out after 4 months of constant use. These are made to for up to medium-large people. Large people should not buy this. I am a 260 lb person and should I get bigger I would say it would start to become a little small for the rump. Overall though this is comfortable.. I have gone through 3 chairs in a hear.. no chance this one will give out where the others did. This is a stout chair and comfortable.

This is NOT an open box NEW chair. The chair is used, refurbished (actually came dirty with something sprayed all over it and has a funky smell), and the knobs are worn. It is not in an "open box" original packaging. In fact, there is no original packaging. No original tags. And no Herman Miller user manual. There is not even a pamphlet to tell you how to put the chair together or describe how the chair works. It comes with knock-off non Herman Miller wheels. And the knock off wheels are not carpet casters as advertised. Parts are definitely worn. And the screws to attach the back of the chair to the seat were stripped out. Not at all what I was expecting for an "Open Box" item. The chair is more appropriately styled "Used - Refurbished".

This is a Herman Miller Aeron chair. They're build to last. Now the chair I received was covered in dust and the main section at the bottom was a bit cracked. For the price you're paying I do think this seller should take more care into refurbishing them. But in the end, everything important was fully functional and that's what matters.

This chair is godlike and you're getting it for half the price. It's worth the money even if it's the only big purchase you make for the next 3 years. One really important thing: this come without an instruction manual and the controls and more complicated than they look. Look for a tutorial on "Aeron Classic" or call the seller if you're having trouble. Some adjustments may seems like they're not working but you just need to learn how they operate.

Stringly recommend.

To me an open box item is something that a person buys, gets it home and decides they don't like it and return it to the store. As the item is no longer factory sealed they sell it as an open box. The chair I got was at least 5 years old. It is the classic version of the Aeron Chair that Herman Miller stopped selling making in 2017! The chair has different mesh and controls. When I asked the company about the chair they said they got a bunch of chairs from a foreclosure.

The chair was obviously used, it did not have the manufacturers sticker on it with the serial number and manufacture date that my other Herman Miller chairs have. There were not tags or manuals.

The company should remove the phrase "Open Box" from the add and state what they are selling as a "used" Classic Aeron Chair and stop trying to trick people.

I must say that they did accept my return and gave me a full refund but I ended up paying shipping costs.

I pursued a return label through several Amazon representatives who said it should not be an issue and then was continually denied receiving a generic Amazon email. Very disappointed in Amazon's customer service. Seems profit is more important to Amazon than its "valued" customers.

Product was open box. Obviously not tested before being sent out. Did not work. Company sent a replacement cylinder, supposedly easy to replace, was not. Parts were seized and rusted. Took two people to finally replace the cylinder. At over $1000 one does not expect these issues. I finally had to compensate someone to assist in the repair.
