If you're looking at this product, you probably like the aesthetics of it. It definitely delivers on that front. Finish on the Aluminum looks uniform and the color is nice. I'm not a big fan of the two visible screw, but I saw that as I bought it.

But for the price...it needs to be a bit more than a headphone stand right?

This headphone stand has two interesting features. It has an USB hub and an audio jack.

First, the USB hub on this device is interesting. It is ultimately ONLY for storage devices. As others mentioned it does not provide enough power to charge devices meaningfully, but not only that, I found that it doesn't work with peripherals such as keyboards. I was pretty surprised by that, and ultimately, reduces the practicality for me a little (I like to test different keyboards and I was hoping this could be used to make the process less messy). Phones connect as storage devices no problem. I have not tested any transfer speeds.

The audio jack is...okay. If you're not an audiophile, it will be acceptable. Otherwise, it is a night and day difference between this and a proper audio stack. Outside of wire managment, there is no reason to use the audio jack over any decently equipped computer/laptop.

If you accept the quirks, I recommend you wait for a sale before pulling the trigger.

If you don't need the USB hub feature, Satechi offers a stainless steel variant with only charging capabilities (wireless and USB-C). Could be a good alternative. I actually prefer the aesthetics of the stainless steel, but I wanted the USB hub functionality. Now that I know Satechi makes good quality stuff, I might snag that one also when it goes on sale.
