I have no idea why the Spigen hardbook case for the Note 2 has so few reviews. It's a great case. The quality of the case is excellent; it's very well made. The case is hard, which provides the ultimate protection to your phone. It's not, however, bulky. It's stylish and has texture to make it pleasant to the touch. Also, the phone fits perfectly inside. It's not loose and not unbearably tight where you feel you may damage your phone getting it in and out.
This case does not come with a latch, button, or magnet to open and close. For me, this is a huge plus. I thought I wanted a latch initially but after thinking about the utility of the phone, it would really get in the way of my access to the phone if I had to open and and close a snap button every time I wanted to use it. Also, don't get any case with any magnet anywhere; it can damage your s-pen utility and possibly the hardware.
Just because it doesn't have a latch, it doesn't mean it doesn't stay shut. I've folded it back several times and it's stayed shut.
Unlike the one star review, this case is SO easy to fold back. The binding is really top notch so you don't feel like you're going to damage the binding by folding it back, but it's well made so that when you do fold it back it comes back easily and lies flat on the screen.
The case is really easy to use as a stand. This was a big point for me because I constantly use my phone for entertainment. I bought the baby blue case, which is pretty spot on with the color depicted. The images on Amazon and on the Spigen website looked to me like the phone may have some sheer finish or some metallic touches, but it's completely matte. If you're not a teen, this is probably a plus for you. If you are a teen, just be happy you have a seven hundred dollar phone. You can bling it out later with some stickers if you want.
I hope this thorough review helps you out. If you're like me, an indecisive and thorough consumer, you're reading reviews left and right and comparing every single detail over and over again. I'm not telling you not to do that, but when you come to your senses and buy this case, you'll be happy.

I received a defective product. Not so great.
Finally I received my hardbook case, after struggling a lot with FedEx (I bought it on their official site and that was the only option). I was hoping that would end with the bad experience, but whey I opened the package, I found this bad glued, defective case. As you can see in the picture in this link[...], 3 out of 4 corners present the problem, I can see the glue there, and the gray fabric will be lifting itself more evidently in no time. I won't return this case, because at least here in Mexico it is very expensive and a real pain in the ass to deal with FedEx. I would end up more annoyed, spending more money, time and energy by doing so. I just wanted to let you know how bad was my latest buying experience with this product. I tried to post some reviews about this on their site, but obviously they only approve the ones that make them look good.
