I purchased the Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset - ESL Edition about two months ago, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in almost every way.
This headset offers a remarkable gaming audio experience with its THX 7.1 Spatial Surround Sound, specially when adjusting them with the software in PC.
Sound Quality: The THX 7.1 Spatial Surround Sound truly immerses you in your games, allowing you to pinpoint enemy movements and enjoy a rich audio environment. The 50mm drivers deliver crisp, clear sound with deep bass that enhances the overall gaming experience. Thanks to the 3.5 mm Jack they can be used in every device, but remember the USB DAC will only work on pc.
Comfort: The BlackShark V2 is incredibly comfortable, even during long gaming sessions. The plush ear cushions and the lightweight design make it easy to wear for hours on end without discomfort. Even when wearing glasses.
Detachable Mic: The detachable microphone is a great feature, offering clear voice communication in-game. When not in use, it can be conveniently removed, giving the headset a more streamlined look. The noise cancellation is amazing. My wife usually watches TV when I play and my friends say they can’t hear the background noise while we are chatting.
Build Quality: The headset feels sturdy and well-built, and it looks fantastic with its ESL Edition branding. I must say I only bought this edition because I liked the color, and they look much better in person than in the photos.
Compatibility: The fact that it's compatible with multiple gaming platforms, including the latest consoles like the PS5, makes it a versatile choice for gamers.
The only con I can think of is the lack of a chat mixer knob, but I don’t think its enough to deduct a Star.
