    3 Stars
Amazing for movies, mediocre for music, awful for gaming
Pros : Very comfortable, good build quality, haptic feedback, even has a dial to adjust the amount of haptic feedbackCons : Wired instead of wireless, the actual sound quality isn't very good, ugly camo colorIf you're looking at this headset, you're probably looking into it for the haptic bass feedback. This is the main feature of these headphones, and it's pretty great. Basically, any low-end sound will cause a physical vibration which will shake your head. If you've ever used a game controller with a vibration feature, imagine that but inside a pair of headphones. The vibration on this thing is also done VERY well, it hits HARD and out of nowhere. For movies, this thing is freakin AMAZING! It sounds like you're in a movie theater - no joke. I think this alone may justify the headphones being at this price point. After purchasing these, I don't think I can watch movies with any other pair going forward - Even if they have better audio quality which leads me to my next point.I'm not an audiophile by any means, but something sounds off with the soundstage of this headset. I can't even describe it really, but I'll try... It sounds like the sound is pushed too far forward and the mid-range is very muddy. Playing music, while both gaming and being on discord turns into a muddy indistinguishable mess, and if you turn the haptics on it's even worse. They just don't sound "Clear" I guess. The directional audio is also pretty bad, it's hard to pinpoint where a sound is coming from in games - which makes it useless for competitive FPS gaming - Although for other types of games like Single Player cinematic types it's great. I tried adjusting the EQ settings in the ICUE software but no matter what I did, I couldn't escape the muddy mids. I settled on a V shaped EQ pattern to drown them out a bit which sounded best to me - pic included. For music, it's alright. Some genres sound really good, like Dubstep and Rap with the haptics turned on. It's not bad, but I've heard much better quality from cheaper headphones in terms of the sound itself. And lastly, the microphone... We have to talk about the microphone. It isn't terrible, but it's also not great. I was using a HyperX Cloud Flight prior to this one, which isn't that great on its own, and when I had switched to this headset my friends in Discord immediately went "What's wrong with your mic?" and even went so far as demanding I switch back to my other headset because it sounded tinny.• Conclusion-------All in all, I would rate this a 6/10.For movies, this will be my current go-to. For gaming and music, I'll be using my Philips SHP9500.I would recommend this only for people that NEED that earth-shaking haptic bass feedback for movies or games. If you're looking for great sound quality, look elsewhere. There are plenty of audiophile headphones in the sub-$100 range that sound infinitely better than these - Audio Technica M40X, Philips SHP9500, etc. Only downside to those is that they have no built in mics like these do, and of course no haptic feedback. If Corsair improved the frequency range, to say 12hz to 35,000hz instead of 20hz to 20,000hz with an improved soundstage and slapped a better microphone on there and made the headset wireless, this thing would literally be end-game perfect. I would buy that for $200+ easy and would use nothing else.

Yo, fellow gamers! I'm here to spill the deets on the Corsair HS60 HAPTIC Stereo Gaming Headset with Haptic Bass, and let me tell ya, it's like I've found the ultimate gaming companion without even leavin' my ramen nest. This thing's got more vibes than my gaming rig's RGB lighting!

First off, this headset's like a soft cloud huggin' my ears – no joke, I could be in an intense raid for hours and my ears feel cozier than my bed after a gaming marathon. And let's talk bass, man. The haptic bass ain't no wimpy shake – it's like a full-blown bass drop right on my dome, bringin' my game explosions to life in a way that even my trusty instant ramen can't top.

Now, I ain't no audiophile, but the sound quality's so crisp I swear I can hear my opponents rage-quittin' across the server. Footsteps, gunshots, even the distant cries of my hunger pangs – this headset picks 'em all up like I've got supersonic ears or somethin'. And the noise cancellation's like puttin' up a "Do Not Disturb" sign to the outside world, keepin' my gaming bubble sacred.

And let's talk about the haptic part. It's like the headset's givin' me a friendly pat on the back every time I land a headshot or pull off a slick move. It's like my own personal victory dance without even gettin' outta my chair! Plus, the haptic bass syncs up with my game's explosions and thumps, makin' me feel like I'm in the middle of the action – ramen bowl and all.

Now, I know I ain't the healthiest eater, but even I can appreciate this headset's comfort. It's like wearin' a pair of fluffy pillows on my ears, even when I'm rockin' the headset through marathon gaming sessions fueled by my stash of ramen noodles. My ears stay comfy even if my posture's a mess.

All in all, the Corsair HS60 HAPTIC Stereo Gaming Headset's my trusty sidekick in my quest to conquer digital worlds without leavin' my ramen lair. If you're lookin' for a headset that'll make your game vibes hit harder than a midnight snack attack, this one's a no-brainer. Five stars? Nah, this headset deserves a high score that goes off the charts!

My old Plantronics (10 years+) started to give me bad feedback and noise, especially when using the mic. So it was time for a new headset. I wanted something I could use for work and for gaming with my PC. Wireless was not important to me, but I wanted a more comfortable feeling, a very good mic/noise cancelling mic, and good sound quality. I also did not want to spend $200.

After searching and researching I settled on the Corsair HS60. I was iffy on it - some of the reviews here were 'meh' and 'not good' and 'broken out of the box' but on sale for $120ish I figured if they weren't any good I could always return them.

They came really fast and I were basically Plug & Play. My RAM is also Corsair and the headset works with ICUE but the headset doesn't have RGB lights. I'd have to look into this feature more to see what the headset can do with it. I bring it up because when I plugged in the headset, it wanted me to update the software.

Anyway - the headset installed and needed a reboot, and then worked perfectly. The headset is one of the most comfortable I've ever used, it's comfort is leaps ahead on my Plantronics and tiny Logitech headset I use at work. The sound quality is very good, and it's volume range is robust. So far, the mic has been working as I need it, I've used it in over ten work meetings and five gaming sessions, and other than moving the mic closer to my mouth there have been zero feedback complaints or background noise pickups. The headset has some decent noise-reduction, I can't hear my dog whining or my girlfriend crying for help when she drops something unless it's really big/glass.

I didn't buy the headset for the haptic response, although it is a cool feature for gaming. I do appreciate I can control how much of the effect comes through.

I don't mind that they're wired - since I'm using them at my work/gaming PC. The only thing I hate about them - it only comes in this camo pattern/color. It is not my aesthetic. Lastly, I think there are well worth the $100+, I'd say they are somewhere "well above" your generic $20-60 headset.

If you needs are similar to mine, I would highly recommend this headset.

I normally don't buy USB headphones (prefer old school 3.5mm) but decided to take a chance with these. Very happy with the sound quality and that is obviously what we all want when purchasing headphones BUT they are quite heavy and really not ideal for longer use.
If you are buying headphones for a child then this is definitely not the right purchase for them...but if you are an adult and don't mind a little weight on them then they may be right for you.

I use my headsets for many reasons, and gaming is one of them. I have the original HS60 headset, and I love it. I wanted to get a new set and saw that these were on sale. Haptic feedback? Why not? Well, when I test my headphones for sound quality, I test them with music. And the haptic feedback on these adds an ENTIRELY NEW LEVEL of bass that I had never felt before! IMMEDIATE stank face! Then add the I-Cue program to adjust the EQ levels?! I'll be honest, I have a table mic for talking, and I do not game FPS, but play multiplayer for sure. Is this the best for FPS? I don't know. BUT! Is this the best headset for music and immersive sound in a single player game? ABSOLUTELY!

I bought these about a year ago and have loved them. The sound quality and noise cancelation on these are great. They are a little pricier but I think they are well worth the price. Use for games such as CoD, Apex, Red Dead 2, LoL, and Fifa.

One complaint that has only started is that sometimes (across multiple games, but mostly CoD) the sound will go crazy in the left ear and great a horrible feedback noise. I don't know if I damaged them physically or if this was a Corsair issue, but it is rare enough that I still give these 5 stars.

I purchased a set of these for myself and my husband. We are both big PC gamers and were both looking for a good set of wired headphones. I specifically wanted haptic headphones for the 8D audio therapy I use for anxiety and depression as well. These are the best. They are almost too good! I can't hear anything else around me when I am wearing them. My husband sometimes gets a little frustrated because they are so good at blocking out the sound that he has to get up and physically tap me to get my attention. I have taken to wearing one ear off most of the time so I can listen for him and/or the dogs. Definitely recommended. And super comfortable as well. Not too heavy, and the ear cups around the outside of my ear so nothing pushes against my ears too tightly. I am going to keep my eyes open for a sale and grab a backup pair as well.

    Alles in Allem klare Kaufempfehlung.
