The Darth Revan saber is lightweight and you can tell it is made out of some form of aluminum composite. It also doesn't have a very good grip so I can't imagine it being very practical in a duel. Although it is amazingly cool, it doesn't feel like it would survive if you dropped it. The Kyle Ren saber on the otherhand...man this thing is beefy! Its about as heavy as a full sized Maglite and the grip makes you feel like you're holding an actually weapon and not a toy.
The video I provided also doesn't do it justice. The lighting effects are amazing. The blade "opens" smoothly and the pulsing arching effect is as close to the flaming effect from movies as you can get. The sounds are also incredible, although it tends to give you the "clashing" strobe effect sometimes when you are just swinging it. Otherwise the effects are amazing.
What I really love about these Force FX Elite sabers are the removable blades and display stands. I've seen other sabers where the blade doesn't come off and honestly I like being able to display them without the blades, but that's my personal choice. All in all, I rarely write reviews but this thing is amazing. I can't wait to get my Dark Saber and Emperor Palpentine Force FX elite sabers to add to this collection. Now if I could just find Darth Vader, Maul, and Dooku sabers, I would be set!
