I bought this for my nine-year-old daughter. She loves science and loves doing experiments and crafts. The box has a lot of different experiments you can do. It explains it all very well along and teaches why the reactions are happening in the little booklet.
Most of them she is able to do by herself, but some of them I have had to help her with.
Some of the experiments can be quite messy, but there is a glove provided and goggles for your child to wear. I would just recommend putting down some plastic or newspaper before you start your projects.
Some of the experiments you will simply throw away afterwards like the changing colored liquids. But some of them you get to keep like the homemade bouncy ball.
