The turn-up construction integrates Tubeless Easy technology in the most progressive way possible. This is what makes the tire so supple and comfortable. Riding this tire feels just like the velvety motion of a classic tubular tire.

Addix Race Compound - Completely new formulation. Addix Race is a multi-compound made of the most innovative and highest quality proven polymers. Because silica filler contents were increased significantly, the mixing process also had to be fine-tuned. Various specific blends are used for the center and sides respectively. This increases the grip during cornering without compromising rolling resistance or durability.

V-GUARD Puncture Protection Belt – The liner is made of a specifically developed high-tech polymer fibre that is also used for bullet-proof and anti-stab vests. It provides excellent protection from cuts and punctures, and at the same time, it is extremely light-weight. Neither rolling resistance nor tire suppleness are compromised by the V-guard.

I mostly ride paved urban travels with some road riding. I replaced some worn GP5000 with 28mm Pro Ones. They came recommended, but the choice came down to availability. Honestly, they're fantastic. They grip well, corner confidently and the construction is top notch. I could not believe how easily these installed tubeless; nor could my wife. I installed on the deep section rim in a couple minutes each, they filled and stayed sealed the first time. In fact, my wife commented on the lack of banging and profanities she's come to expect. My only criticism is that they did not pop into place during the dry-fit. The lack of dry seal meant the sealant was a bit messier than usual, but it didn't detract from my experience.

These are great tires. I have been running these in both tube and tubeless format for years and every time I try something different, I am disappointed and come back. These tires are Not cheap. They don't last a particularly long time either. BUT they are the best riding, best handling tire out there and you can fit them on your rims with your HANDS. While your buddies wrench the heck out of their Pirelli's you will push these on with your thumbs. Worth every penny!

First of all, this is my tire of choice. Great traction with low rolling resistance. Very supple ride, best I have found. The rubber on this tire can last a long time on the front. The rear not as much. I think the front would go 8000 or 10000 miles if you don't hit anything. On the rear maybe 4,000. Depending on where you ride and how much you pay attention you might not get that far. I think I lose about half of these to damage before they wear out. If you run over a drywall screw, or even some light broken glass these tires cut fairly easily. More so than say a GP 5000, But these have a better ride. I would not recommend them for urban areas where the roads are not well maintained. I use them in a suburban area where the bike lanes are mostly swept but it sucks to thrown away a brand new tire because you had an unlucky encounter with somebody's discarded beer bottle. It happens. I have never had one of these tires fail for no reason. They are pretty good with rocks unless you hit a very sharp one on the sidewall. BTW I got a lot fewer flats when I finally got some excellent prescription progressive Oakley glasses. It helps when you see it before you hit it, however they are expensive enough to make you pay attention. If that's too much trouble for you I'd recommend a different tire.

I am not a professional rider, I only ride for fun but I spend a decent amount of time outside. For those who care about such things, my FTP is right around 3.7W/kg and train around 10 hours a week. Most of it indoors but I try to ride at least twice outside every week and I try to make my long ride at least 60 miles.

Now, on to the product. I mounted only one tire on my rear wheel to test it out before I spend $100+ on a set. I installed it on a Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST disc. The first bead went on without any hassle. The second bead wasn't too bad either but it required tire levers. I do not have any special pumps or a compressor and my regular bike pump couldn't inflate the tire. I ended up going to the local gas station and using the air there. Once the beads popped in place I could use my regular pump. My wheels have a 19mm inner width and the 28mm Schwalbe measures almost exactly 28mm fully inflated. Granted, I always used 25mm tires before but these tires are definitely more comfy than anything I've ever tried. The grip is also decent and as far as I can tell the rolling resistance is on pair with the best. I often include a popular local climb in my route, so I have quite a few data points for that. During my first ride with this tire, I set a personal record on it. Whether it was due to my enthusiasm, a good day or the rolling resistance, I cannot say. What I can say is that, anyone would be hard pressed to distinguish this tire from any of the other popular tires in the real world. One thing that I will say though is that, while the tire handles well, the feedback from it is fairly muted.

All in all, this tire is comfy, fast and handles well. The feedback from it is a little muted and due to my limited time with it I cannot yet comment on durability or puncture resistance. With that said, I'll be buying another one of these for my front wheel.

I think the tires are great. I did almost give up bc it was not beading right in the rim as some other reviews point out. I found some helpful tips like using soapy water to help the tire sit properly and it worked. Will buy again

This is an authentic Schwalbe Pro One tire that I mounted tubeless on my DT Swiss rim without any issue. I have been riding on Pro One tires for a while and I'm very satisfied with them as they offer great adherence, low rolling resistance and great comfort. I prefer them over the Vittoria Corsa that I used to have, although this is largely subjective.
