I have pretty wide and moderately arched feet (U.S. size 12ish / EU 45-46). These shoes provide good support without causing mid-foot pain. The toe box is a hair tight, as my pinky toes tend to go numb at around the 25 minute mark (give or take, sometimes earlier, sometimes later - it depends on type of ride and how tight I make them). Also, they don't have that mid-foot ridge you can get with some shoes, and at 250 lbs, that was always a problem for me.
