This thing was absolute junk. It was opened on Christmas, and under normal, non-abusive use, it was already scheduled for return before new years, as one of the controller was already broken. I have a second one from another supplier, same issue. Whoever the common manufacturer is, they make junk.

This controller has a very good design and feels very good in your hands. My son really likes is and really wanted to use it except for one issue that I find very odd: when plugging a stereo headset into the 3.5mm jack, the left and right audio channels are reversed. Yes. It's weird but true. We tried multiple headsets with the same results. I even contacted Amazon and requested a replacement (which they promptly sent to me) but---believe it or not--the replacement controller has the same exact problem!! I'm afraid to buy another controller from PowerA because I'm just not sure if there's going to be another obscure problem like this.

I tried looking for some sort of an adapter solution online but, really, why should I? I can't believe this is a real problem but it is and it is very noticeable.

So, if you want a cool, Star Wars-themed wired controller for the Xbox One and don't plan on using it with headphones, this is the controller for you. If you want to use a headset with it, look elsewhere unless PowerA corrects this problem. (Please fix this!)

I haven't used the headphone port. I use this with a PC and have a USB headset. If there are problems there as others report, I wouldn't know.

Overall, I like this controller a lot. It is pretty solid, which is more than I can say for most of the 3rd party controllers I've used. The sticks, ABXY buttons, triggers, and start/options/XBox buttons work very well.

There are a few problems with the controller. My biggest complaint is that the cord is not removable. That makes it a bit difficult to pack or put away without damaging the cord in the long term. The shoulder buttons are a bit more "clicky" than I would like, but you definitely know when you have or haven't pressed them. The D-pad is a bit mushy, which can make them error-prone and would lead me to suggest against this if you rely on the D-pad a lot, for example in a fighting game. Luckily, the D-pad is pretty secondary for most of what i play.

To sum up: it's better than most, has a good Star Wars theme, and is priced well. If other controllers were better, this would only deserve 3 stars. As it is, I am comparing it to the other options and am giving it 4.

DO NOT buy this controller if you want to use it on PC, it doesn't work as it is third party and there are no PC drivers available for this controller on the internet.
