About the Author

AMANDA CONNERbegan her professional art career as an illustrator for New York City ad agencies.  However, her love of comic books and cartooning soon led her to the comics world where she initially found work at companies such as Archie, Marvel and Claypool Comics. Since then she has worked on a number of high profile projects spanning a variety of genres.  Her works include Vampirella, Painkiller Jane, as well as creator owned projects such as Gatecrasher (with co-creators Jimmy Palmiotti and Mark Waid) and The Pro (with co-creators Jimmy Palmiotti and Garth Ennis). Her work for DC Comics includes CODENAME KNOCKOUT, BIRDS OF PREY, TERRA, a well-regarded run on POWER GIRL and BEFORE WATCHMEN: SILK SPECTRE. 
Amanda, along with her artist/writer/fiancé Jimmy Palmiotti, and writer Justin Gray currently work together via PaperFilms, a multimedia entertainment studio engaged in screenwriting, art production and development

Power Girl lands in Harley's front yard and the two team up....and hijinks ensue. Power Girl has amnesia and hilarity quickly follows as the two gets sucked into an alternate dimension because....comics.

You also get the origin of the New 52 Harley in a short and sweet story.......well......as sweet as Harley gets at least. I'm sure that theatre was filled with animal abusers and people that "had it coming"

The Harley comics are nice for those of you not wanting to read the grim and gritty stories that some heroes go through and just want silly stories.

I especially liked the story where Harley ends up on an island and meets her ex

The Comic Con story was fun (I especially liked the title page cause it has a giant Harley on it.....what an idea, a giant Harley Quinn wrecking up a city.......)

Well written story, though definitely a comedy comic. Do not look here if you want a serious story that is filled with drama and twists. But if you are looking for a good chuckle and even a few laughs, along with enjoyable, sexy, and kickass art, this is the book for you.

Only General knowledge about Harley Quinn is needed to enjoy this comic, so its a good starting place into the new 52 for any would-be fan of DC comics.
I do recommend buying and reading the first volume before this one though, since there is some continuity in this comic, although little. You will have minimal confusion if you skip it, but if you think you will enjoy volume 2, why not just start with volume 1?

I got the hardcover, and the quality is good. It's got a thick cover, and nice solid binding.

The series itself is very entertaining to me. I love Harley's hijinks! Her new 52 series puts her in different light and has a new spin on her backstory. It's doesn't usually get very deep or have an intricate storyline. And while more of that might be nice, I also didn't expect it to have those things.

Taken for what it is, I think most Harley Quinn lovers would enjoy this series.

Solo Harley reminds me so heavily of Tank Girl, that's not a bad thing either. Like I really love it, I love she's just her own sort of character living in a reality of her own and sometimes she reminds me heavily of the Joker with her facial expressions or things she does in the comic and I find that really cool. As much as people aren't into the idea of the two of them not being a couple i kind of like knowing and seeing this character be out on her own and being able to exist without being with Joker 24/7
