Zeb Wells is a master of mordant, murderous comedy. He knows what he's doing with these classic C & D list characters, giving the mysterious, tormented Kwannon a perfect home for the time being.
Also, this issue is full of subtle callbacks to the classic '80s Havok attitude (of course, he doesn't want to kill robots!) And oh my, Nanny, you are a caution.

What a great issue from Hellions. As one of the most surprising titles in the X-Book range it's great to see it consistently hit so strongly each month. Every character plays a part here and it all builds up so well. There are some interactions that were especially sweet.
