While for this specific issue you will not get to see an awesome Ultraman battle. This story sets up a good mystery for upcoming stories to reflect back on. I felt immersed into the world of this comic book especially as a distinctive Ultraman story. Characters are smoothly personified through their interactions, and overall this comic provides a comic viewer a little great taste on what to expect next from Ultraman.
As a ultraman fan myself I felt very interested how this world is set up compared to the original show and sort of gave me Ultraman Nexus vibes with the secret organization and serious tone of the story. This story may have a more mysterious dramatic tone but it still leaves a fair bit to be light hearted for young audiences. Be sure to know that this is not a complete 1 to 1 retelling of the original show events and will change aspects up like the characters.
And as an added bonus the overall package also has bonus side stories that give a broader view into this new Ultraman comic-verse and provides a good sense of fanservice dedicating to those deep into Ultraman. Please get this comic and maybe even consider watching some shows. This comic is a excellent beginning taste into Ultraman but choosing any show to watch that you find cool will gradually get you into the know-how of things.
