Pros:
Stellar sound quality: (soundstage is small because they are closed back but imaging is top notch.) Even on warzone where many other wireless headsets get muddy these maintain their separation and footsteps where accurate and audible.
Solid build quality: they are not light but nowhere near heavy. Earpads are so stinky soft and the memory foam is some of the best I've seen. Clamping for is light to medium, just enough so it won't fall off your head but not so bad that you'll get a headache. Buttons are tactile and the RGB looks great.
Software: it works as intended. Nothing fancy but accomplishes what it aims to do.
Cons:
Active noise cancelling needs some work and for the most part is a gimmick in a gaming headset. Don't get me wrong it works but if you move your head around the mic on the outside that is used to monitor the ambient noise freaks out and makes the audio cut in and out. Just turn it off and you're good to go. I'm sure this can be fixed with software down the road and shouldn't be the reason you pass on this headset.
Mic: passable but nothing to bank on. It will be able to get you through games and phone calls but it's a little tinny and hallow compared to others.
Final thoughts: buy this headphones if you're in the market for a well built and excellent sounding wireless headset. Do not buy it for the ANC or the mic because these just aren't the best implementations of either. Also do not buy at the MSRP of $200. Anything south of that price and these are a steal!
Anyways, i was looking for steelseries wireless headset that carry rgb lighting but none exist with rgb lighting “WIRELESS “ so i did my research and found this baby right here.
The ergonomics are amazing! I don’t get tired of using them, downloading the app to the computer it will let yoh use the other functions with the
Lighting plus the equalizer as well.
Jbl, you will never go wrong with jbl if you choose them. They have alot of good specs! Amazing audio chipsets and 3d sound. My cousins told me my voice sounds like if i was there with them in person while playing warzone on the party chat on the PlayStation 4. I didn’t believe it i doubted them so i asked them why. They told me my voice sounded super clear and no lag. I was pretty amazed to hear that, since wirelessly it can lag, but this didn’t happen. Plus the range is a good range to actually be wireless with the dongle and they have more good things as well, like for example you can charge them usb-c which is faster and plus the hardware is very new and it has double braided wires on the sides in order for the wires to not get damaged easily.
It has amazing quality audio components the only downfall is that we cannot use this wirelessly whenever yoh are charging them. Anyways i always chrage them after every battle royale so they always ready to go for my sessions when i
Play with my cousins or my squads.
I do strongly recommend them.
After they replaced my model for the
what seems like too many times..
The headset has been holding up okay but it hasn't been without issues along the way.
Still overall love the design but a bit wonky with the microphone especially after it bends over time and loses its original
form Making it less than ideal
for longevity and clarity.
Wouldn't highly recommend this
Unless it was on a very decent sale and even then paired with its battery life
It's debatable as to whether you
would say you got your money's worth.
Originally I got it for the RGB
(which is fantastic by the way)
I just can't see myself using them however due to how quickly it seems to lose it's charge
particularly
without the capability of charging while using which I believe is its biggest flaw!
If there's one thing I can mention
in their defense,
is that JBL has stood by its product for the duration of time.
So I will be loyal-
however slightly more cautious upon
their gaming related line of gear.
2nd Update:
There was a software update and it broke my headphones, they no longer power-on waiting for support as I no longer have working headphones...
1st Update:
Let me first say the software is pretty finicky.
Spent been a couple hours trying to update it..only to give up and go to bed to find out the next morning it was up to date mysteriously.
Super so let's get into it.
Equalizer works very well,
Software is neat,
Great highs and lows epic bassline.
looks phenomenal like I don't even ever want to go back to the way it was before!
In comparison how does it sound to the JBL 400?
Significantly better, how is the function in its current state??.. Well let's just say the wired counterpart works out of the box whereas the wireless model needs the firmware updated and that could take some time. (In its current state)
Unfortunately no thanks to support haven't really been able to speak to anybody for some reason I was speaking to India's support, and they give me the runaround so I just ended up taking care of it myself.
Verdict- As it is my first JBL item and as a hardcore gamer I'd like to think this is a fantastic piece of equipment... My only issue is I'm not sure if one of the speakers is having issues at max volume as it sounds a little shaky.
With that said it's definitely worth the money will try to upload better pictures stay tuned, and will keep you updated on The wear and tear.
Original review:
Was never more excited in my life for but for this headset. Waiting on the edge of my seat all week! f First pair of JBL headphones, and oh boy did I luck out. -_-
*Did not include the USB dongle I am not able to connect it to my device as it is missing the USB dongle...???
Signs that it may have been opened previously, Will update with further information but as of yet I am unable to test the device.
(Looks and feels good but oh wait it's the Quantum 400 series ?!!!!)

I wish you could charge them while wearing them. The microphone doesn't sound as good as my stand alone mic, but I think that is to be expected.
Over all I love these, awesome is the word that comes to mind.
For gaming, I can hear everything, exactly where people are in the game (FPS games)
For movies and music, excellent as well. If you like bass, just set the equalizer to bass boost, you'll be amazed.
The noise cancelation is not the craziest one, but it's good, it decreases the ambient noise, (AC/Heater, fans, wife :P)
Battery life is also excellent, the box says 14 hours and it's about that or more. For the time I've been using, I usually put them on at 8am, and go to sleep midnight, 1am. With one or two pauses of 30m during the day. It lasts the whole day.
So far, I'm very satisfied with it.
