Product Description

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration includes the critically acclaimed Rise of the Tomb Raider, nominated for over 75 ‘Best Of’ awards. With over 50 hours of gameplay and all-new content created to celebrate 20 years of the iconic Lara Croft. This is the most comprehensive version of the award-winning experience. In the critically acclaimed Tomb Raider, Lara Croft was forged into a true survivor, but she glimpsed a deeper, secret world. Now, after uncovering an ancient mystery, Lara must explore the most treacherous and remote regions of Siberia to find the secret of immortality before a ruthless organization known as Trinity. Lara must use her wits and survival skills, form new alliances, and ultimately embrace her destiny as the Tomb Raider. Experience high-octane action moments, conquer beautifully hostile environments, engage in brutal guerilla combat, and explore awe-inspiring deadly tombs in the evolution of survival action. In “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” Lara becomes more than a survivor as she embarks on her first Tomb Raiding expedition. PlayStation VR Support: The full “Blood Ties” story chapter can be experienced in PlayStation VR, and players choose between two control schemes. “Comfort Mode” allows players to teleport from point to point, completely eliminating any potential discomfort. Meanwhile, experienced VR users can select “Free Mode” to move and look around using the thumb sticks. Manipulate HD relics, examine documents, and control the flashlight with the Sixaxis controller motion as you unlock the mystery of Lara’s childhood home in first-person. The immersive HD beauty of Croft Manor is perfectly suited to VR, and for the first time in franchise history, players can explore the world through Lara’s eyes.

... as a huge and die hard fan I would like to point out a few things about this game
So as a huge and die hard fan I would like to point out a few things about this game. About over a year ago E3 made a huge mistake having this game announced for PC, PS4, and XBOX. It was later announced again as a so called "timed exclusive. I'm sure many fans of the PS4 are aware of what was going on and is wondering is it worth it?Pros:- Contains all DLC with the game for less than $60.- The artbook is the CD case itself. Meaning the artbook is where you put the CD to hold it.- Beautiful artbook.- I finally get to play it after so long.Cons:- Was expecting a bit more considering how this game is kind of a sly way of apologizing to the Playstation fans.- I thought the artbook would be similar to those really big books that you get from typical collector editions.I never do reviews but I want to do a favor for other fans that are considering this game. I actually pre-ordered the game and paid about $58.06 (2/5/2017 Edit: Actual price was $58.88 but more or less I meant what I said about being less than 60 bucks for my at least I can't account for anyone else.) without any special shipping. So it is cheaper than your usual typical $60 game that has tax with it. I was pissed off over the fact that it became a timed exclusive I felt that as a fan we should not support an industry that caves into money when ironically they could have made more from just releasing it to every loyal fan. Lara has always been on the Playstation, which made be baffled as to why Microsoft would get special treatment so despite my mixed feelings I say just get it because as a real fan of Tomb Raider don't miss out on it. While I still don't support Microsoft or Scam Enix I support Lara and the Tomb Raider franchise.
