I ordered these after doing some research to compare different brands. I work in landscaping with mowers, power shears, etc. I previously used Isotunes, which were designed for outdoor workers. Those abruptly died on me, and they never really got right. Now my Piston buds fit amazingly well, they are very comfortable. I can even sleep with them in. The active noise cancelling is awesome, I don't need to use anything else when I'm mowing, trimming, or running a backpack blower. The only thing that they can't quite keep up with is when I'm using a hurricane blower, but they still protect my ears from the noise. The case holds a long charge, but using the active noise cancelling drains the buds faster than normal use. But they still get me a good five plus hours per charge, just like they claim. I wish they lasted longer with the ANC on, but it's not a huge complaint. The app is easy to use and has good equalizer options, and it helps track the charge on the buds and the case. I would highly recommend these to anyone working outside and/or in landscaping. This will be my go-to if and when I need another set.

Good sound quality for the price.
Noise cancelling makes plane trips more pleasant.
Grill design gets clogged easily with dirt and debris then the sound gets muffled quiet. Almost threw them away (outside of return period) then figured this tip from JBL site was worth a try. Your results may vary and don’t blame me if it doesn’t work. But, this fixed mine:

If you are experiencing volume or balance issues, always check for wax and dirt in and around the earbud and driver and complete cleaning of the earbuds. If the issue persists, there may be earwax/dirt stuck in the small holes in the grille in front of the driver, preventing sound output. To resolve the issue try dipping the affected earbud tip into a solution of lukewarm tap water and a small amount of dish soap (washing up liquid). The earbud tip should only be put into the liquid up to a maximum depth of 1-2 mm only. Immersing the earbuds in water or putting the earbuds in water at a larger depth than this could void your warranty. Keep the earbud tip in the water for about 2-3 minutes, then wipe/clean the grille with a small brush (such as a toothbrush). The should remove the wax and resolve the volume/balance issues.

Sound is fine and controls are just OK. Doesn’t work properly unless you have one in each ear. That’s fine unless you live in the real world, and there are inevitably occasions, maybe lots of them, where that doesn’t work for you. Like you want to hear what’s going on in your surroundings, whether traffic or someone talking or any number of other situations.

They are also constantly on whenever outside the case. THERE IS NO OFF OPTION WHILE OUTSIDE THE CASE So if you set them down in one room in the case in another room, or right next to them for that matter, they will disrupt your ability to use Bluetooth with any other device. Are earbuds supposed to be an anchor? I didn’t think so. Until now. Yuck.

I ordered these in July 2022. They worked really well. These were lightly used (half hour per day for walks in the summer). Recently, the right headphone stopped working. After trying all the troubleshooting suggestions (the 3 quick clicks, 8 second hold, disconnect, reconnect, unpair, re-pair, different devices), it still does not work. I contacted support through the website and after a few days, they responded by telling my there is another group that deals with Amazon purchases/support and gave me a separate email (apparently they are not able to forward the support request on their own). I emailed the "Amazon Group" and have yet to hear back after several weeks. I guess I will look for a better product / company for my next set of headphones.

For the price I paid ($40), I think these wireless earbuds are really worthwhile. The noise cancelation is decent (though I don't understand why the wind reduction is an additional setting there rather than under pass-through, where wind noise is especially bad), and it's easy to use the app to cycle through the modes when you're connected to a device that can install it (and/or to practice changing them with a press on the earbud, since you can then see which sound matches up with which mode).

My two major complaints:

1. Switching the paired device is a MASSIVE pain. For most headphones/speakers, after you've paired them with two or more devices, if you want to switch which one is connected, all you have to do is press "Connect" on the device you're actively using. But it seems like with these earbuds, if you don't first DISCONNECT from whatever device they're connected to, you can't connect to the other one. It's a weird, annoying trait that requires you to have BOTH devices in hand, rather than just the one you actually want to use.

2. While you can customize the double-tap and triple-tap actions, there is no single-tap action at all (let alone a customizable one).

Other than that, I have only minor gripes (auto pause/resume can be a little iffy; the earbuds will sometimes accidentally register taps/presses while being held in the hand). Battery life so far has been good, and I appreciate the USB-C charging port that means I can just swap the cord from my phone to the case as needed.

I found that this product offered excellent value. Good volume and very good sound quality considering the price. Noise cancelling at this price point is unheard of, and the quality of the noise cancelling is half decent. Certainly not to Bose or Sony standards, but very good nevertheless.

My only complaints are 1) my beany, if it's sweaty or snowy, may trigger the touch sensor on the earbud and cause it to cycle through the noise cancelling modes, and 2) while the microphone is generally of very good quality, if there is a lot of background noise (such as vehicles on the street) the sound filtering software gets a bit too aggressive and filters my voice out of the call, making it sound very muffled. The person receiving my call can't hear the traffic, but they also can't hear me very well either in those circumstances. The microphone is of very good quality in most other settings though.

If you want great quality sound and noise cancelling on a budget, you could definitely do worse than these. I am very happy and woild definitely recommend them.

Los compré porque tienen buenas críticas y a un precio contenido tengo cancelación de ruido. Esto último me ha sorprendido mucho porque activándolo a tope la verdad es que detiene mucho del ruido ambiente. Son fáciles de usar y encajan perfectamente.
