Portable/Foldable Solar Charger is Excellent Choice
This portable/foldable solar charger is an excellent choice for hikers/campers who want a modestly powerful solar charger (63W nominal STC) to lug around with them. It is small, compact and lightweight. While it is somewhat pricey, I think it is well worth it. Most foldable solar chargers are USB voltage (5V approx.) which is fine for charging phones, but this has an output voltage of up to 19V, which is ideal for charging 12V(nominal) batteries and more powerful laptop computers. The 63W probably will output enough amperage to charge modest batteries fairly quickly. I would recommend a 12V capable, 72,000mah Lithium Ion Power Bank for a powerful lightweight companion, unless you can schlepp a heavier battery. It has a wide variety of adapters, which, I have read doesn't handle everything, but does connect a lot of things. Ingenuity might be helpful.

Honestly I'm surprised with how durable this product was .
It's taken a few falls and still works perfectly fine .
I've charged my phone , power banks , and much more with this panel . It's come in handy so many times
I keep it in my truck so I may use it anytime I go out.
Honestly I've recommended it to many of my friends and family because this is an amazing product to have for emergencies as well as just to have in any occasion .

Loved that it's lightweight and easy to set up. Also, has 3 ports to charge from. I was able to charge 2 cellphones and portable speakers at the same time. Didn't have great success with my laptop. After about 3 hours it only charged 23%. So I'd say this is really more made for smaller devices. Also note it does not have self charging/energy storage. So it's best to have some kind of chargeable battery/generator to attach to it if you want to hold a charge. All in all, it worked and was great while out camping.

Just used this panel on a 50+ mile, 10-day backpacking trip through Washington and it was perfect.
Most other panels of this wattage weigh over 5lbs and cost hundreds. Compared to the weight of my old 50w panel alone, I was able to carry this along with a battery pack and still have lost a pound of weight, while having more wattage available. The DC outlet charged the battery much faster than only USB, and having the extra plug-ins meant that my whole group could top off in a few hours under the alpine sunshine.
This thing made us feel like we were really living in the future out there, amazing product.

I used this to charge my Necespow battery while car camping. It folds down easily and compactly. It has little tabs that make it easy to hang. The array of panels make it easy to adjust to some or all are perpendicular to the suns rays.

In direct sunlight I was able to change phone, headlight, and portable power bank at the same time.

In low sunlight conditions you will hear a high pitched whine from the device. I contacted support and they said this was normal.

i did not have very high expectations so this solar panel wound up exceeding them! i live in Oregon and do not have electricity on demand. The sun here is never a sure thing! i just set it out in the sunlight, it charged my solar generator battery from about halfway down to five bars in a bit less than five hours. i figure it would take the better part of ten hours to charge it from empty to full by way of this solar panel, given strong sunlight. i would recommend this solar panel to anyone who needs to charge their solar battery with no built in power available.

I've tried to get near max power ,any times, and the closest I came was in the low 30s. That's okay. I use this with my jackery and it works. I had these before I bought the Jackery, otherwise I would have bought the matching panels.

The worst thing about these is that if you create a shadow on the panels, the charging won't automatically jump back up. I had to unplug this and then plug it back in to get it to go back up to a fast charge, which I think is kind of a deal breaker. But I have used this at the beach where the sun is plentiful, and it worked well.

This solar charger is small enough to be truly portable and yet provides enough solar power to be useful. The 63W in my experience is about the smallest unit to be worth using. The units that provide 30W or less have been a disappointment. The 100W units are far too large to be portable for my needs. I got the BRILLIANCE4U Aluminum Tent Poles Replacement to provide support to keep this unit flat and tilted toward the sun, maximizing power and adding negligible weight and bulk.
