Quality stitching, good size options, but doesn't sit still.
I bought this (small size) mouse pad, because I bought a new desk and monitor riser, and my previous, much larger pad didn't fit in the new space.As you can see from the picture, this mouse pad fits perfectly into the space (and it should, cause I measured the space before purchasing). The color scheme and picture looks great. The stitching is neat and without flaw, and the surface is appropriately "glidey" and interacts nicely with my Logitech G500s' custom mouse feet.BUT, this mouse pad would not sit still. The material on the bottom is not grippy enough, so I was having issues with it shifting/sliding around on the wood surface of my desk.. I solved it by buying a roll of non-slip silicone grip sheeting (see here: https://a.co/d/boJJFPn ), and a properly cut bit of that placed under the mouse pad fixes the issue. But I shouldn't have had to do that! Corsair should put a "grippier" rubber on the underside of their mouse pad.

Hard to complain about. My old mouse mat was a medium Razer Goliathus speed and the mouse I use with this mat is a Corsair m65 Pro RGB. I can confidently say that this was definitely a good upgrade This mat is definitely a speed oriented mat but feels so responsive that it gives you a great sense of control, provided you have fluid movement in your hand. If you tend to be very twitchy then this may not be the mat for you as the smooth surface causes each and every little twitch and jitter to have a profound effect. The mat itself feels so soft to the point that they could probably make jackets out of it and they'd sell like crazy, and there's more than enough room to fit my STRAFE RGB keyboard and M65 PRO RGB mouse with room to spare (as you can see in the pictures). I don't have any sliding issues with the keyboard resting on the mat and the mat itself feels like it's pretty firmly held in place on my wooden desk.
Overall, the feeling and function of the mat has the quality and build that you can typically expect from Corsair products. In my opinion, the Corsair logo and sails on the right side cause it to look very stylish without giving the look of a stereotypical gaming peripheral (you know, with all the ridiculous bright colors and flashy branding and all that jazz) and the dark color palette should make it blend together with most setups. I can feel myself playing better in pretty much every game I play (Battlefield 4, Overwatch,DooM, fps's) and my stats have gone up as proof of it ever since I switched from my Goliathus Speed. So my verdict is that it's just an all around fantastic mouse mat for someone with a steady hand. If your hand movement is solid and stable then this mat will work wonders for you, if you have a hand that's not as steady then you may want to look elsewhere at something more control oriented, though It's still hard to go wrong with this. I bought it at a price of $20 and it was an absolute steal, but would no doubt be worth it at a price point of $30 (or maybe even higher) as well.

It's true that in the 1st few days there will be a strong chemical smell - I think it's coming from the rubber material. But, this is no big deal as it does fade away.
However, the only disadvantage I think it has is that one end of the mat is still curved (see 2nd picture). I think this is the inner roll since that's where it was curved to it's fullest and longest time since it was stored in the box from the factory. Until now, there's still a curve and I haven't flattened it despite using books, a laptop, and an Ipad among other things.
