Cotton is crazy about candies called “willows”. those candies are so good that she won't let anything get in her way to get them. Talk about sugar cravings!armed with explosive Fire power, a cast of cunning enemies to confront and some enchanting and beautiful graphics sees this endearing title as one that enlightens the imagination. Cotton will embark on her journey through the game's seven amazing colorful stages with the hope that she will be rewarded at the end. As you move through a graveyard with wormed eyeballs or through a forest with trees that are part human form, eyes and mouth, hails of bullets and Triple laser Fire from cotton's latest weapon resource that can be swapped and changed throughout as an endless onslaught of enemies fill the screen with their own arsenal of power. Avoid and maneuvering becomes as important as straight shooting.

I like that the game has some good classic old school feelings to it, the game for me was fun and addicting. The game however feels short and if you know what your doing you will most likely beat it in a few hours, because of that I think the cost of the game should be less.

Beep really outdid themselves with this port of the classic cute’em up Cotton. The game has a new arranged mode with modern graphics and killer remixes tunes. It’s gorgeous to look at and the updates to the gameplay make it feel almost like Deathsmiles 2.
There’s also a port of the original x68000 version as well. It’s more difficult but the game remains a classic. To round things out there’s also a time attack mode and characters to unlock. My only complaint that I hope they patch is the scores do not reset if you continue and as any shooting game fans knows one credit completion is your goal.

I can’t recommend this enough to fans of shooting games or people looking for an easier old school game to try out. Hopefully if this sells well in the US we will get the Saturn remake they are currently working on.

I'm used to r-type and cave games and this is enjoyable, my daughter and I will admit we didn't go over the tutorial do so if you are new to franchise and enjoy while it slaps you around I recommend for a shmup fan frames are 4-6. If you don't care about it then enjoy building memories with family.

Includes both the reboot/new "Arrange" Mode (updated visuals and music) as well as the Sharp X68000 PC original. There's also a Time Attack (2-min or 5-min) score mode. As shmups go, the game is short, and you unlock additional playable sprites after the first playthrough in Arrange. Cutscenes are now voiced with localized subtitles. The "reboot" art and visuals are really nice. Cotton isn't insanely bullet-hell like Cave shmups, take note. Cute all around!

Una refrescante remasterización para Switch que sin duda merece la pena probar y coleccionar, tal vez sea un juego corto de unas 2 horas, pero cada aspecto artístico del juego valen cada centavo del mismo, sin mencionar una experiencia en el gameplay que sin duda ya muchos juegos de hoy en día han olvidado, adicionalmente es un lindo detalle que venga incluida su versión original de X68000 y la puedas configurar para jugarla a tu gusto.
