I do like the PS4 stand better because this one seems rather dangerous. I don't know if there are better stands for the Xbox out there but this one (same price as the PS4 one) does not lock in or hook in anywhere on the console like the PS4 one does. If I bump, move, or pick up my xbox it will come off the stand. The Xbox simply sits on top of the stand. It is well designed for ventilation which the Xbox seems to need more than the PS4. However I am cautious with how dangerous it sits and could fall off the stand with a bump, if there was say a small earth shake, my PS4 would be fine and my Xbox would have been fallen off the stand. Originally I had my PS4 sandwiched between the TV and my Xbox, however whenever I used my Xbox it would heat up so much that it would actually heat up my PS4 and turn it on. I switched them around (the Xbox is in the middle) and it seems to never overheat anymore (as shown in photo). The Xboxs ventilation is present on the top of the console so now the heat escapes to the side instead of to the back of my PS4. The negative as I said is that it does not lock in or even hook/grab the console in any way. I can easily slide pick up and bump my Xbox off and on the stand, it literally sits ON the stand, and only half of the console sits on it the rest levitates for ventilation.

As of now, on the top of my furniture unit, I have the center sound bar, cable box, Xbox One S, PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro), and Nintendo Switch. The Switch in its dock fits neatly behind the sound bar, while the oversized cable box sits in its only available orientation, horizontal. That left me to stack my Xbox One S on top of my PS4 Pro.

Unfortunately, doing this type of stacking seemed to cause the PS4 Pro to overheat; the center top of its case appears to be a heat transfer point. With the Xbox One S on top, there was no way for this heat to naturally dissipate and/or stay under control. The solution was to place both of those consoles in a vertical position.

The DOUBI Vertical Stand for Xbox One S is a simple stand that clicks into place on the bottom of the console. While indeed simple, it's effective, and it has a reasonable low price to match.

It's hard to muster much enthusiasm for products that are so simple, but it would be disingenuous to ignore the fact that they solve a very real problem without breaking the bank. You can pay a lot more for other vertical stands that are frankly over-engineered.
