Long story short, yardage is great, it's small, easy to use and read. Now I only use my laser finder for par 3's, or to hit specific targets on the course. The cart in front of us, a tree, a hill etc... wish I'd bought this little guy years ago.
The charging system kind of stinks though. I'll just have to adjust.
I charge it on my way home from golfing in my trucks USB port. But when my truck is off, it doesnt charge. No big deal. But this little Garmin doesnt charge in the background. When you plug it in, the unit turns on. So when my truck shuts off, the unit stays on with no charge. Over night it runs dead. It's a pain in the butt for me, personally.
I'll just have to charge it inside my house, or make sure to turn the unit off when I shut my truck off.
It's a great GPS. But I've never had anything electronic that cant be charged without booting up all the way. So that'll take some getting used to.
But if you are looking for a barebones Golf GPS this works well..
