I bought this case to pair with the  Noontec ZOROHDWHT ZORO HD True Sound Headphones with Inline Mic and Answer/End Button - White , a terrific pair of headphones with similar styling to the Beats Solo HD. It's a perfect fit; the case is a little larger than I expected, but it's a very solidly built hard shell case that should provide excellent protection for your pricey headphones. The little zippered mesh pouch inside could be useful for a number of things (a cable, a pair of AA batteries, a spare key or a little cash), though the pouch is definitely small; a larger one would have been preferred as there does appear to be enough room to have enlarged the pouch a bit more. It would also be nice if the case came in more colors than just pink and black. Still, it's very well designed overall; it balances nicely from the attached strap, all visible stitching is even, and the zipper that surrounds the case moves very smoothly, unlike some competitors' products. Best of all, it doesn't crush easily and should provide adequate protections against drops and crushing issues with other items in your bag.

A warning for those who are chemically sensitive: all plastic products do have some outgassing, and that can be noticeable if your case was very recently manufactured, as mine was. In most situations, airing the case outside in direct sunlight will resolve the problem fairly quickly. As discussed with CASEBUDi, typically this would be minimal or completely gone before the product reaches the customer's hands, but in times of rapid turnover of product, some outgassing may be noticeable. For most people, it shouldn't be a problem, but it's a possibility that those who have chemical issues may need to be aware of.

A slightly larger interior pouch and a larger variety of colors would make this a five star case; even so, having evaluated in hand all the options currently available, I'd mark this one down as the best value for the combination of price/versatility/protection, whether you're using Beats or one of the other similar brands.

This thing almost looks like a minnie carry on! Why is it soooo big? I would say the item does look sturdy I also wished I knew a case came with the Beats by Dre I purchased. The case that comes with the headphones is a lot less clunky.
