    I bought my PC over a year ago, it came with 16 gigs of RAM. That should be enough, right. I've used the memory scans from some manufacturers websites and the results say 16 gigs is the limit. Though I could move up to 2666Mhz. Just for kicks and giggles I used the computer manufacturers site to do a complete system scan to check for any potential issues. The results said that my motherboard was good up to 32-gigs. Many tests said 16 max, HP said 32 max, so I took a gamble and decided to order a 16 strip for a total of 24-gigs. Normally I'm a Corsair reliant, this time, I went with HyperX.The moment of truth came when I went to the Amazon Locker, got my package and went home. The worst thing that can happen is I go through the trouble of removing the bottom cover of my laptop, install, reassemble and it doesn't work. Good thing Amazon has a good return policy.After easily, and painstakingly removing the bottom, then replacing one of the 8-gig strips with the new 16-gig, I snapped the bottom on just to do a startup and hope for the best. The first thirty seconds or so, I didn't see anything but the power light come on. Then the screen lit up and the normal cold boot proceeded.I let everything boot up, drivers load, and went into my system profile. What do you know, the HP scan was right. It saw 24-gigs, and 24 of that was usable. But it doesn't stop there. Since the upgraded RAM was a success, I can't have Hyper-X on one side working alongside the Value Ram that came with the machine. Onto Amazon I go and immediately ordered the same thing in an 8-gig. I know it's more proper to have two of the same size working together. But 24 is sufficient enough for me to notice a lot more *pep* in my performance. One day, I'll get another 16-gig to even it out. Maybe even go for the 2666. But for now, I'm happy with the improvements it's done on my once-thought non-upgradeable PC.I would deduct one star, not because of the memory itself, but for the ease of installation. Memory is a snap to install these days. But cracking open an HP by removing the bottom is a delicate task if you don't have the right tools (which I do) and don't want to leave any markings on the outside of the machine. It's not Kingston's fault I have a "pressed together" machine, so I'll leave it at 5. The short: I took a gamble, and hit a small jackpot with the results.Bonus: It comes with a nice quality sticker. I'm a dude, and dude's WILL apply a free sticker somewhere. Whether it be on the lid of their laptop, or under the lid to our toolboxes. Mine looked good on the lid to my machine with the black-on-red mods I've done to it's aesthetics.

    32GB of RAM is probably FAR more than I'll ever need for gaming, but since I finally splurged on a gaming rig, even if it was a middle-of-the-road model, I wanted to have every possible thing supped up. The RAM was the last thing to cross off that list after SSD storage and boot drives.
    The biggest issue with upgrading my RAM was one of compatibility. Not a lot of information existed for my particular model of computer, the new Dell G7 7590 (the 2019 edition). As this RAM uses XMP profiles, not every motherboard supports it. Also not helping matters was the fact that XMP options aren't listed in my system's BIOS (as far as I can tell), so theoretically it could work, but a lot of the information that did exist skewed toward it not working.
    Thus, buying this was an expensive experiment. Before I get any further, I'll give my reasons for buying this particular RAM: it's made by Kingston, the manufacturer of the stock RAM that came with my computer (Dell uses RAM from many manufacturers, I think, so yours might differ) and I wanted it to be an upgrade in more than just capacity. That CAS latency of 15 looked pretty good to me (improvement from CL19).
    Results: plug and play. Worked like a charm. My computer booted fine and recognized the increased capacity at the max bandwidth allowed by system (2667MHz). Screenshots provided from CPU-Z for reference. (note: I am running BIOS version 1.6, I don't know if this will work in the stock BIOS which I think is either 1.3 or 1.3.1)
    Verdict: great upgrade and confirmed by this guy to work in a G7 7590. No issues to report as of yet, but I don't expect any.

    ***Update***
    This RAM, 2400MHz runs great in the Skull Canyon NUC, after you adjust the memory profile.

    The issue is a brand new skull canyon and this 2400MHz RAM will not boot. But if you have a 2133, CL13 set of RAM to use, you can boot the Skull Canyon and go into the BIOS to change the Memory Profile from "automatic" to XMP. It's very easy, and then the 2400 MHz RAM will run great and fast in the Skull Canyon.

    ////////////////////////////////////
    Since I have a 7th gen NUC i5 running with 16GB of
    HyperX HX421S13IB2/8 Impact Black 8GB 2133MHz... just fine, so ...
    I ordered this 32 Gig set for my new skull canyon NUC. I had been using the other set from the other NUC temporarily and it worked just fine, but when I put this new set of 32Gig 2400 RAM in, the Skull Canyon didn't boot or post at all. Nothing. I tried each dimm in each slot and nothing at all. I put the 16G set from the other NUC back in the Skull Canyon and it booted right up.

    So I don't know what the issue is. I ordered a replacement set, hoping it was just a bad batch of RAM. If this second set also doesn't allow the Skull Canyon to boot, I'll have to refund it and switch to another brand.

    I wanted to upgrade the two stock 8GB 2666MHz sticks in my Razer Blade 15, so I did some research and ended up here. After some initial hiccups, my computer now runs much better than before. Normal tasks feel snappier, and as someone who indulges in Chrome tabs, the extra memory really helps speed up my system. I was also surprised to find that I had some SLIGHT improvements in a couple games. By far the most improvement I have seen is in CS:GO where I am getting an additional 60+ FPS (although most games don't see anywhere close to this). I purchased the 3200MHz option, but I probably would have been better off with the 2933MHz option since my computer seems to only run it at that speed.

    When installing the new RAM, I had no problems with the hardware side of things. However, I had some issues with the software. My laptop ran extremely slow, and I had several issues where it would crash or just have a black screen. However after selecting the SECOND XMP profile (the Default and first did not work), my laptop has been running fine with no known issues. I am fairly confident with computers, so for me, it wasn't a big deal. But if you plan on giving this to someone who isn't, I would recommend helping them through the install process.

    I have a new Asus TUF 506IU with Ryzen 7 4800H and it came with 16gb of Samsung ram at 3200mhz. Anyhow I need 32gb as I do a lot of photo editing with large files and 16gb runs out fast. So I found Crucial Ballastix 3200mhz and cl16 and their site said it would work. Well it did work but only at 2666mhz...Why? Well I though it was because Crucial needed 1.35v to run at 3200. So next I found G.Skillz that showed 3200 at 1.2v. Nope that would only run at 2400mhz. So I installed the old ram and took a good look at it with CPU-Z. Here is what I found. I know now that Asus TUF laptops doesn't do XMP profiles. So how did they get 3200mhz? The stock Samsung ram had only JEDEC profiles (normally no OC). So now I searched everywhere and ended up on Kingston's website where they showed the JEDEC profiles for 2x16gb 3200mhz ram. So I returned all the others and to my surprise this HyperX ram worked perfect. 3200mhz at 1.2v and cl20 and will run faster if you have a board or laptop that supports XMP profiles.

    Sorry for the long review. But If I had found a post like what I just typed out, I wouldn't have had to do all that research and order three different ram sticks. Well hopefully this helps out some others.

    Produto maravilhoso, melhorou o meu PC em 200%, antes ele estava dando certos gargalos por conta das antigas memórias de apenas 8GB. Vale ressaltar que o preço foi bem em conta, visto que eu paguei R$ 445,00 em duas memórias de 16GB, sendo que em uma pesquisa rápida na internet você encontra o preço de apenas uma dessas por R$ 270,00 facilmente.
