Excellent Except for the "N" Key
    4 Stars
Excellent Except for the "N" Key
Update - one year later - the keyboard has performed like a true champ - and gone on a few travels as well. I remember to turn off the keyboard about once a month, it has had no impact on it. It never slides around, doesn't bounce or vibrate, and has a quick response to the touch. The keys have not gotten stuck and the "silver" background - which apparently is one large sticker - has remained intact. I've gently wiped it down a few times with a wet cloth, but that's about it. I have been pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it is, how well it has stood up to daily abuse, and how well it traveled on some pretty rough trips. The only con - the printing on the keys has worn off considerably. I don't need to see the keys to know what letters I am typing, but some other people sure do - like my teenager. And the two newest, brighter pics I have attached makes it look like the letters show up more than they actually do - essentially the "N" key is all but gone, "M" and "I" and "C" are close behind, and "V and "S" are difficult to make out, and the rest won't last the rest of the year. If you do not rely on sight to type, this isn't a problem. I glance down once in a while to see where my fingers might be if they have left the keyboard, but, other than that I am okay. I'm keeping this keyboard until it collapses - it really has served me well so far.*********************I like the low profile of this keyboard very much. It is perfect with my MacBook, the bluetooth signal works several feet away from the laptop when needed. The numeric keypad on the right hand side is what sold me on this product - my job requires a lot of use of that section of the keyboard! Yes, the keys are exactly like those on a Mac. The silver is a close color to the Mac - slightly on the cooler side of the color spectrum. And it's solar - and it works like a charm. That solar charge works, and works well. My office does not get much natural lighting, I rely on that lamp over the desk to do the daily charging, and it does fine. And I almost always forget to turn the keyboard off - not a problem so far.*But*, and here's the only thing that I am not thrilled with thus far, is the "N" key printing has worn off already. I have had this keyboard about three and a half months, yes, I use it full time for my job at home, and then it also gets extra use. Personally, I don't need the imprint to find the N key, I don't look at the keyboard when I type. But my youngest kid does, and that kid had a heck of a time typing out a short report because that N key was worn off. In the photo it doesn't look as bad, but in the daylight, it is really hard to see.Other than the N key, it's a great keyboard.

    PRO:
    + Great Keyboard
    + GREAT typing feeling
+ Very similar feel to the native MacBook keyboard (but this one feels a little better)
+ Full size (Large Ctrl key left/right and numeric keypad) which is great for programmers using emacs (lots of use of Ctrl key)
    + Solar (nice touch!)

    CON:
+ Short keystroke - Not everybody will like this. I always loved a deeper logitech wave or classic deeper keystroke
+ Not bluetooth... so it consumes a precious USB port with the unity receiver (tiny but still uses a port)
+ The Ctrl Key is small and not in the keyboard's leftmost position (programmers using Emacs use Ctrl a lot) [Same a Macbook and apple wireless keyboard]

For various reasons, I ended up with the following three devices connected to my MacBook Air:
    + Apple bluetooth keyboard
    + Logitech K750 for Mac
+ Logitech K760 for Mac (this review).

I will write feedback on all three devices here.
The K750 and K760 are a lovely keyboards... typing feels nice, their keys press feels a little different than the macbook
which stops short of a normal full strike. Both these keyboards somehow feel a little "deeper"...

The k750 has a smoother more firm and rubbery feeling than the K760 or the Apple wireless.
Both the K760 and the apple keyboard have a bit of a loose key feel to it (you shake the keyboard and you'll hear the keys
rattling... not so with the k750. The apple wireless keyboard is very similar to the K760. But frankly, after using any of those
3 keyboards for a while you won't mind the difference one way or the other. They are all very good keyboards.

The K760 connects to up to 3 Bluetooth device (select the one from 3 dedicated keys) and works well with my Macbook Air (as expected)
but also perfectly well on my Nexus 7 android tablet and my galaxy S3 Android phone! It doesn't have the dedicated Android keys that
you might find on the logitech android keyboard (which I also played with) but this is a MUCH nicer full size keyboard!

Problem : F keys to adjust display brightness don't work (on K760 and K750)
Solution: Disconnect Apple bluetooth keyboard and all they F keys shortcuts now magically work fine on both K760/K750.

Problem: K760 keyboard & Apple keyboard both are missing a dedicated "DEL" key (the delete on those two keyboards is really a Backspace.
Solution: Press the "fn" key as you press the delete and it then behaves like a real delete key (i.e. deletes on the right of the cursor).
This works for both the K760 and the Apple keyboard.

Problem: Some people will miss the pgUp/pgDn/home/end and numeric keypad.
Solution: get the K750 or purchase a 3rd pary bluetooth keypad (mixed review on those)

Since I don't have a lot of numerical data entry to perform, the choice between the wireless apple keyboard
and the two logitech (K750 and K760) is purely based on the typing feel.

On that note, the K750 does have a slightly larger Control key which is conveniently located in the leftmost
corner of the keyboard which is VERY useful for a programmer using the Emacs editor a lot (i.e. ME).

I would pick either Logitech keyboard over the Apple wireless one any day as it has the same typing feel but more features for the same or cheaper price.
Between the K750 and the K760 is a bit of a toss up. I like that the K750 has a nice full Ctrl key, full size arrow keys and don't care
either way about the fact that it has a numeric keyboard (many people might). I'll have to use both keyboard over a few more days
to decide which I will keep. That in itself should speak volume to the fact that both are excellent devices and either one should
    make you a happy camper!

The good news is that there is not bad choice between those 3 keyboards... only slightly better ones.

Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2013
    Style: Brown BoxVerified Purchase
I've been using this keyboard for several weeks now and feel the need to pass some info along.
Design - excellent. This is a great match to my 27" iMac. This is what Apple should have included instead of the too-small wireless version sans numeric keypad or wired full keyboard.

Key layout - excellent. I absolutely love the spacing between the keys. I tend to roll my fingers around a lot and constantly hit adjacent keys with other keyboards. Not with the K750. The texture of the keys is also reminiscent of the keyboard Apple included with the early model G5s; slightly soft with a good tactile click without too much vertical travel. Or in other words - very comfortable. No fingertip fatigue for you keyboard stabbers out there! I still need to tweak the F-keys a little bit but the default layout will meet the needs of most users. As with all wireless keyboards I've used, this one is also missing a CAPS LOCK indicator. I've just had to learn to deal with it but I do miss it.

Solar Power - excellent. I initially charged up the keyboard for 3-4 hours in direct sunlight. Ever since, it's been sitting in my office that has almost no light other than from the iMac itself. I wish the panels were a little less obvious but the payoff is worth it. No batteries!

Construction - above average. It is fairly rigid considering how thin it is (1/3 inch). You can torque it some if you test it but with everyday use, I expect it will last a long time. The silver finish is a perfect match to the iMac. It has a white trim around the outer edge that I wish was solid silver like the Apple supplied keyboard. The feet to raise it feel a little cheap but ultimately provide more than enough solid support that you should never worry about them.

Connection - excellent. Logitech's Unifying technology is great. I have several devices in the same room hooked up to different computers and they work flawlessly. (2 keyboards, 2 mice & 1 headset). I would have been willing to pay a little more for a Bluetooth option to avoid the USB nub altogether.

Software - n/a. After reading the reviews of the Solar power monitoring software, I chose not to install it. It's been widely panned for being a resource hog by sending 7-10 log entries PER SECOND to the System Log. Even uninstalling it appears to be difficult. I've been using it straight out of the box and haven't missed a thing.

Warranty - excellent. 3 years for a keyboard? That's pretty great in my opinion.

Overall - Excellent. My whole family is very pleased with the look, feel and performance of the K750. It is easily my favorite Logitech Keyboard I have ever owned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Apple keyboard replacement option

Arrived in great condition and hasn't missed a keystroke yet. If you need a replacement MAC keyboard then I'd recommend this Logitech. Key size is about the same as an Apple keyboard and spacing is a tad better perhaps. Key travel is nice - not too short - and the battery is constantly kept in check with the solar charging.
