Zero complaints, this is the exact type of case I need
I always need open-bottom cases for my iPhones due to my car having the old iPod/iPhone 30-pin connection. To be able to use the newer models, I purchased an adapter that allows me to use the lightning port and works just as it normally would — the only problem is that most cases don't leave enough space open on the bottom for the wide adapter. This one does that perfectly (see pictures). The case is also grippy and doesn't slide around. The first day I had the phone, it slid off the top of my shower door, 6+ feet, onto tiled floor. Luckily there was zero damage, but that should never have happened in the first place; the iPhone XR is considerably more slippery than the previous models because of the glass on the back. With this case, there's no chance of the phone slipping off anything.I also use a magnetic mount in my car, and the magnet can sit behind the case, between the phone and the case, perfectly. No need to even use the adhesive to apply it to the back of the phone or the case.Minimal branding, which is only found on the inside. I REALLY like that, and wish more cases had minimal to no branding on them. The only downside, which is just a personal preference, is that I wish there were more color options for these open-bottom versions. The one in my picture was the best color I could choose, but even then I don't enjoy it too much. Not a big deal though, it's not ugly. I also use a magnetic mount in my car, and the magnet can sit behind the case, between the phone and the case, perfectly. No need to even use the adhesive to apply it to the back of the phone or the case.
Minimal branding, which is only found on the inside. I REALLY like that, and wish more cases had minimal to no branding on them. The only downside, which is just a personal preference, is that I wish there were more color options for these open-bottom versions. The one in my picture was the best color I could choose, but even then I don't enjoy it too much. Not a big deal though, it's not ugly. It's just not my first choice of color.
Wireless charging works fine with the case on and with the magnet situated toward the lower portion of the phone. I don't really use wireless charging, but still a nice bonus to not have to worry about it should I have to at some point.
Overall, I'd recommend this case. It feels nice, and oh, it doesn't slip out of my pockets while I'm at the gym because of its grippiness.
