High Quality Product with a Low Price Tag!

Power Support used to be my favorite brand. High quality screen protectors, but with premium prices. At some point, the brand become hard to find and I had to quickly choose another brand so that I wouldn't have an unprotected device. I chose Tech Armor because they were cheap and had good reviews thinking I'd get a "high quality" Power Support branded protector during a restock. Except, when I finally got my Tech Armor protector in I found that it was just as high quality! I was really floored and Tech Armor became my new "go to" brand for screen protectors. I've seen alot of reviews complaining about these protectors and wanted to address some of these concerns:

1) These are made out of glass and will break if the phone is dropped. That's what glass does, but these are so cheap that it's a non-issue for me. These also come with lifetime warranties, but I feel that these are so cheap and high quality that I'd rather just order another set and support the company. I got a pack of two for essentially $3.50 each plus Prime shipping.

2) Some people said their protectors came broken, I didn't experience that. Perhaps it was a bad batch? The the screen protectors were within vinyl like inserts and those were within Styrofoam like inserts and then those inserts were enclosed in a sturdy plastic insert and that plastic insert within the cardboard box. They came well protected. They also included various stickers to remove tape, a cleaning cloth and a wet wipe.

3) The protector does not cover the entire screen. One of the inserts included in the box very clearly makes you aware of that and it's also clearly noted on this Amazon page. I still bought it knowing this. The protector covers basically the top bezels and the screen (not the side bezels). I will probably pick up the larger protector in the future because the protector covers less than I thought it would. No stars docked here though because I knew what I was buying and gave this product a shot anyway.

4) The quality is top notch and the screen is so smooth unlike traditional glossy or matte protectors. It doesn't seem to scratch easily either. The screen still looks good and very clear. Nothing will compare to the original screen, but I'd still rather have mine protected.

5) Installation was difficult and that's because dust and lint stick to the outer plastic and is hard to get off. My first attempt I didn't realize how much dust was stuck under the screen. I ended up taking the screen protector off and rinsing it with water to clean the underside. Then I tried my best to avoid getting dust under the screen while letting it air dry. I stuck the protector back on the phone with little water beads still on it after that. The static cling doesn't work if you put water on it so if you do this just make sure to manually get all the water out. It worked like a charm fir me and I was able to carefully get the water out and the screen still bonded well. After that, the static cling will work again.

6) Doesn't attract finger prints and really easy to clean.

This was not a paid advertisement! I never trust those. I simply want to recommend a cheap protector with a high quality feel!

I ordered this 2 pack and used one, gave the second to my son. My screen looks beautiful- nice & clear! I really like how easily it went on. There were a few tiny bubbles but they smoothed right out. I've never had a screen protector go on so well and look so good after application. My son dropped his phone at school and the screen protector shattered. I guess it's much better to shatter the protector than the phone's screen which is why we have them. Unfortunately, I couldn't see about a replacement because he threw it away. I ordered the same in different size for my husband and daughter. Great product!

Technically it’s easy to put on, but you do need a good eye and very steady hands. Once you line it up just right and exactly on the spot you need, it will settle right on the screen with no air bubbles. The only knock I have against this screen is that it just barely covers the black section of the screen, if don’t line it up exactly, you could have one side of the black section of the screen exposed,or the ear piece or the home button out of line. The outer edges of the screen get no coverage, because the screen isn’t large enough to reach to the edges. The screen protector needs to be just a fraction larger and it will still fit perfectly without extending over the curved edge. Hope they redesign it. That’s the only negative I found, other than that it’s a very nice screen protector, that looks like glass.

UPDATE: TechArmor has again stepped up to support their product. After some confusion and shipping issues, they sent me another set for free which I do appreciate. The new protector went on well and despite a little dust, the edges went on clean without air bubbles with the exception of one little air bubble on the bottom near the home button. The protector looks good and feels good and considering Tech Armor has again done well to support their product, I'm comfortable updating my review to 4 stars.

This is the first time in the many TechArmor products that I am disappointed in the product. I put two ballistic glass screen protectors on my wife and mother-in-laws old iPhone 6's and they went on perfectly. Little to no visible dust and no air bubbles around the perimeter.

I had a ballistic glass screen protector on my iPhone 7 plus but after about 8 months of use, I had some scratches that were bothering me so I decided to change to a fresh one. That one went on well with no visible dust or lint and while it did have two tiny air bubbles in two corners they were basically invisible.

In this two pack I installed the first one thinking I'd have an extra to give to a friend or to keep for a spare for later but the first one was plagued by air bubbles around every side and corner and trying to push them out actually made them worse. Installing the second one I had issues with the static electricity pulling every piece of lint and dust from the air but that is expected. The air bubbles around the perimeter of the glass were not as bad as the first one but are still very present.

Is my screen still protected? Yes. Does it look horrible? Yes. I'm leaving two stars because TechArmor products have been affordable and reliable and the company is great to work with but these two protectors just look really bad on my phone and I'm going to replace it. I can't recommend this if you're OCD like me or just want a good clean looking protector.

My first attempt at fixing the screen protector in place was rubbish. Fortunately there are two in the pack and on the second attempt I got it fair and square, using the little tabs to line up with the camera and microphone on the top of my iPhone 6s Plus, and the power button at the bottom. I had already cleaned the screen with window cleaner and kitchen towel, so the protector was able to seemingly fix itself in place as if through mutual attraction. No bubbles, no corners sticking up. Just a neat protective screen that seems pretty durable and hopefully capable of withstanding a few knocks. I am using an Otterbox case with the iPhone and the protector fits nicely inside with a very small gap all round. So far, well pleased. Oh, by the way, it is remarkably immune to finger marks.
