I didn't want to use the screws on my oak end table so I use 2 Command damage free hanging strips by 3M. Each strip will hold up to 4 lbs. The plastic holder with my 4 remotes weighs just over a pound and a half, so I think 2 strips is more then enough. All remotes are nice and handy now.
