I love to PVP and yeah its a mess. The PVP system is completely broken. As a fresh 120 PVP gear is impossible to get and doesn't do much of anything. In order to catch up you have to run mythic which for a casual player like me is just... dumb. Why invent PVP gear if it does NOTHING and you need to WIN every BG to get it? The PVP queues are always unbalanced and the pre-120 sync feature is worthless getting one shot for 40/50k by a hunters Aim Shot.
The Corruption gear is garbage. It gives you a buff but takes something away which is fine, but there is no way to purge it until 120.
As a fresh 120 a lot of the Assaults are rough without 400 + gear on some classes with very little reward. I end up getting the same gear I had with a lower item level if I run raid finder.
Then there is the dumb necklace that you have to level which is a replacement for artifact weapons. The necklace gives you some perks which some classes need to do OK however you need to jump through hoops as a fresh 120 to get them.
Then there is a long painful cloak quest you need to run which never seems to end and you have to run weekly assaults to level it up to wipe out the corruption level.
I would wait and not give Blizzard any money towards this expansion.
I will stopped my subscript about two months in. I couldn't handle the garbage pit of an expansion. The raids are meh, and the story meh, with a meh dungeon and questing system.
I would not give Bliz ANY money towards this expansion. Wait for Shadow Lands but I doubt it will be any better unless they keep going with garbage pit BFA ideas.
Technical Stuff
There have been a significant improvement in the graphical department of the game. Environments are much richer, animations of my paladin were given a major boost (this may not have happened in this expansion, but it’s noticeably different from where I left off.) The music in the game, as always, is wonderful (especially Drustvar!)
Leveling
The leveling experience in BFA was quite fun, though rather “fast.” Within 2 weeks of playing, rather casually, I was able to hit max level (this also included me leveling through the Legion content, which was also fun.) You can think of leveling as a guided tour through each zone. Throughout the process, you’re given a few choices of where you can go next. I was never left scratching my head thinking “I’m out of quests… where to now?!” True to the Blizzard fashion, especially with the last few expansions of WoW, the storyline of the game has been pushed through questing. Each zone has an overall theme and story to it. As an Alliance player, I found that most of my story for the main plot was delivered in Tiragarde Sound, with some extensions throughout Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Quests and character interactions are seasoned with some pretty entertaining PG-13 level humor, and I really appreciated this.
Crafting
I now have 2 characters at level 120. My main is an enchanter/jewel crafter, and my alt is a blacksmith/miner. All my trades thus far have been rather challenging to level, and the rewards for leveling them seem rather dull. Enchanting has been stripped down to rings, gloves, weapons and bracers. Blacksmithing takes a ton of work just to make 340 gear, and you can find 370 practically laying on the ground. I feel that crafting took a huge hit in this expansion.
Quality of Life Improvements
Many of these features happened overtime. If you compare WoW today to where it was during its early years, it’s much more “friendly.” Inventory and bank space has been boosted significantly. Organization and equipment managing tools are built directly into the interface and getting around Azeroth is fairly simple, once you get familiar with how it all works.
PvP
I still haven’t quite figured out the PvP system. I used to be able to get some basic PvP gear through battlegrounds, but now that seems to only award mounts and cosmetic items. PvP gear seems to be not too different from the other gear, which is fine by me. I thought having multiple sets of gear was too cumbersome. Now, it seems like you want to focus on some forced world PvP, rated battlegrounds or arenas to gear up.
Endgame
I hit level 120 after about 2 weeks of casual play. Within a week my average item level went up to about 370, and most of my gear was epic. A friend ran me through 2 mythic dungeons (these were my only dungeons this expansion,) and the rest of the gear came from World Quests and a warfront. I have not yet stepped foot in a raid! To be honest, I’m fine with not raiding. I raided heavily during the BC, WotLK and MoP expansions, and casually through WoD. While I kind of scratch my head about how fast and how easily the gear came, I don’t mind acquiring it through means other than PvP and raiding. I may run a series of mythic + dungeons if I can find a regular group of people willing to do so, and I’ll probably queue up for some LFR’s.
Overall Opinion
Despite all the negative press I’ve read, the BFA expansion has proven to be a fairly fun experience. But… I’m mostly back for Classic!
A lot of people like to hate on World of Warcraft because they say, "it's too easy and casuals are ruining the game" but often times those same people don't have . I think the game's been engineered well for players of all types.

My problem is the low star rating as it was just a game code inside not the disk like I wanted.
