“Zotac's RTX 2080 Ti is powerful, quiet, and runs cool. What more could you ask for?” Scored 9.3 out of 10 at IGN
“There is no denying that the new RTX 2080 Ti is the fastest graphics card we’ve ever encountered and when given the ‘AMP’ treatment – things can only get better. With currently no clear rival in the pathway of RTX 2080 Ti, this is no doubt the king of GPUs. It is both illustrious in performance and in price too.” – Vortez Premium Award
“If you’ve built an extreme PC, this is the jewel in the crown and a real leap forward in terms of raw rendering performance. It’s also poised to be the most capable when it comes to Ray Tracing, and we’ll see huge FPS improvements with DLSS yet. “ eTeknix Extreme Performance Award
“With the extra boost headroom that the superior cooling gives the RTX 2080 Ti GPU, plus the 30MHz higher boost clock speed, the Zotac card is about 4.5 percent quicker across our suite of tests and the new fastest card we’ve ever tested – hooray” bit tech.

USB Type-CA single USB Type-C connection will enable future Virtual Reality experiences to be easier to set up, less cumbersome to use, and with less cables dangling about. |
Icestorm 2.0Our strongest cooling. A larger and thicker aluminum fin stack array in combination with five 8mm copper heat pipes, which four are straight, work in harmony to extract more heat than previous generation designs. |
StrongerThe all-new graphics card is also stronger in durability. An additional die-cast metal jacket layer makes the all-new graphics card stronger. With full board coverage, it adds an integral structural strengthening and as a plus, additional heat dissipation. |

Fan DesignQuietly slice through the air, grab and generate wind, direct the flow, and extend the circulation. The all-new fan design performs the multi-stage sweep with each rotation with minimal effort. The multi-stage blades feature blade tips at the outer edge to generate multiple currents and a raised inner with a grooved curved path direct the flow more inwards to allow the airflow to touch and pull away more heat. |
Active Fan ControlIntroducing Active Fan Control to enable smarter fans. Two individual fan controllers allow users to adjust fan rotations independently and apply increased airflow only to where and when it’s needed, reducing overall noise and increase longevity while still keeping things cool under the hood and performance going strong. It’s all done automatically so there’s nothing you need to do. |
FirestormIntroducing the all-new ZOTAC Gaming Firestorm. Freshly designed with a more intuitive and minimal interface so you can get in and out quickly. Fine tune your ZOTAC Gaming Graphics Card with enhanced intelligence, adjust the Spectra lighting, or simply monitor the hardware status with the new Firestorm utility. |

Pros.
2080 ti amp extreme looks great in my case. Got a phanteks lux with a nice aio on an 8700k running 5.1 ghz. This card has great customizable lights, and it works great with my case. Performance is awesome as well. I may just be winning the lottery with these zotac cards, but my 2080ti is consistently between 97 and 99th percentile for performance on pc benchmark. The 1070 ti around 95, and the 1660 ti around 92. Very happy with these products. The 2080 ti is also keeping remarkably cool under heavy loads. I nornally don't go over 60 degrees even running triple monitors, one at 144hz 2k, one at 60 hz 4k, and a junk panel. Demanding games as well, like the unoptimized Ark, even run great on this card. The card isn't very loud in my case, but I've got a nice case which dampens it a lot, and if I left the side panel open it does get a little loud. Not as loud as my case fans though, and I could always drop the fan speeds and deal with higher temps.
Cons
Expensive, it is a 2080 ti. You pay for zero compromise, it wont be cost effective.
Size. Big card. Not much extra room even in my case, so be careful with dimensions. Even screwed in properly there is a tiny bit of sag, which might look bad with level hardline tubing.
Some people say their cards die shortly after getting it. I've had mine for over a year with 0 degredation of performance, going on 2 years. Maybe they overclocked too hard, maybe they pointed an AC at their pc and condensation killed it, maybe they got unlucky or I got lucky. Can't speak beyond my card. Mine is working perfectly though, even with high manual overclocks.
Zotac, you have a new customer for life. Don't change!
Initial thoughts after having it for 5 days:
Pros:
-This triple fan heatsink does wonders. I haven't had the card go above 65*c under load. My old evga 1070 ftw would run around 75*c.
- Exactly what you need for 144hz 1440p gaming. I have an Acer predator monitor that does this, and I am finally able to maximize the monitor's potential on many more games vs my old evga 1070 ftw.
- DOUBLE+ fps compared to the old 1070! Upgrading to this from the 1070 and below are where you're going to see your bang for buck. I'm getting 90 fps in ark with everything maxed @ 1440p, and that's one of the most graphically intense games out. I'll get higher fps once dlss is enabled in that game.
- can upscale to run higher resolutions on smaller monitors with less resolution for improved image quality. I can run witcher 3 in 3620x2036 DSR @ 100 fps with hair works and AA turned off.
- RTX/DLSS capabilities
- will be able to run pimax 5k+ comfortably (my main reason for upgrading). Once I get one I will update this section.
- 5 year warranty
- backplate for added stability and better heat radiation
Cons:
- price (though I managed to get it for 1200). Would've had much more appeal if it sold for even $200 less.
- length may be an issue for some. It fit in my thermal core v71 case with plenty of space so I had no issues.
- width may be an issue as it is a 2.5 pci slot card. Those looking to sli may be better off with gigabytes aorus waterforce.
- at the time of writing the review, there are no rtx/dlss games out to play. This is also partially due to Microsoft not having released their windows 10 October update, so not much of the blame can be placed on nvidia.
- not that it looks bad, you'd just expect more for a $1200 card.
- doesnt take me out on romantic dates
Other thoughts:
- only the zotac logo has rgb. This can be a pro or a con. I personally dont mind it since I'm not staring at the card for hours.
-firestorm software does what it needs to. I mainly use it to monitor what clocks the card runs up to. I probably wont be overclocking it since I'm happy that it hits around 2000 on stock settings. UPDATE: I have attempted to overclock this card with the firestorm, precision X1, and afterburner programs. The firestorm program gave me a clock boost of 60 mhz, while the other two programs gave me a boost of around 120. I decided to go with 60 mhz and added 500 mhz to the memory clock, with power at the stock setting. The clock played stable in witcher 3 for the 2 hours I played and did a timespy benchmark, and a heaven valley benchmark with no problems. I however ultimately decided to go with stock settings on everything as I want this card to last me the 5 years NVIDIA claims it will on stock settings.
- Running it with an 8700k @ 5.0 ghz and 16 gb of 3200 mhz RAM, got a timespy score of 13413.

Tengo una duda acerca de su promoción de Call of Duty, nosotros compramos 2x 2080 ti el 5 de sept, quiero saber si la promoción del Modern Warfare puede aplicar porque somos muy fans! Gracias!
As a system builder, I appreciated that this is an understated card: not too flashy. I
As someone that does video encoding, I appreciate the massive amount of horsepower offered by this card's raw CUDA count -- I went from 0.5-1.5fps CPU driven encoding to 750-780fps GPU driven encoding with the same settings.
