Great for price just mess with settings before reviewing
So first off this projector is not as bad as most are putting it I assume most of the bad reviews are out of the box settings reviews. I own a LG C9 OLED so it's hard for me to judge pictures cause I'm so used to the OLED but this projector is good for me and the price. The two different color sides or the line down the center as people are putting it is an issues with different source devices and HDMI cables. My apple tv and Xbox have had issues with this but my Shield pro has not had any issues at all I am replacing with a better HDMI. If you run into this issue just turn the source device off and back on it has worked for me. You also need to adjust the settings to your liking as well. I'll include some photos I took when I got it looking better this is not professionally calibrated and I'm not the best photographer its just me messing with settings. The screen is a $40 dollar 150" I got off Amazon so not top quality. Game lag I use on 4K not enhanced and it's amazing so far. One last thing if you have projector issues seek a replacement cause could be you just got a bad one. I always see people posting bad reviews off the first one they get and act like all will be the same as discurage others.EditSo the line is showing up on my Shield tv now too but all I have to do is turn it off. It's a software issue for sure and should be fixed soon I hope. If you need to know how to get the speaker off icon when you turn off the built in speaker to use optical or HDMI sound I found the way to do so.First open the settings menu, then go to the setup cog wheel, then scroll down select options, the scroll down till you see information hide and select on. This will get rid of speaker off logo.Note that it will turn off all information stuff like the speaker off icon and the source when you switch and most likely other informative stuff that would normally come on the screen.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM OPTOMA! 1 YEAR REVIEW Failure to honor warranty
Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2020
{UPDATE 3/24/2022] RMA form filled out - THEY RETURNED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS
After finally claiming to have repaired the projector they mailed it to the wrong address. They take no repsonsibility because someone signed for it!

    [UPDATE]
Only 5000 hours on lamp used in Eco, over 30 dead pixels and 5 bright pixels in less than a year.
They said they would cover the warranty but they're out of the part and don't know when they'll get it in.
    - That was 62days ago
They don't respond to my request for a replacement.
This seems like poor quality control and is very disappointing to have a permanent constellation on screen.

    Previous Review:
The split screen is correctable, but why do I have to put up with something like this at all? It's also a bit concerning as an "over time" issue. If half the screen wants to default to brighter, how is that going to wear on the device/parts over years? Why would the device do this. Yes, there's a firmware upgrade. No, you probably can't install it and it didn't seem to fix anything for the VERY FEW people who attempted this.

Weird glitches and weirder "features". Ultra Detail adds a green edge when put above 1. How is that a feature?
Using my phone in ANY fashion seems to trigger all kinds of buttons on the remote so that the menu flickers on and off if I receive a text or if I swipe through Instagram...?
Several color settings but they're all bad except for 'Reference' and all of the features need turned off so I'm not sure what I'm paying for in the end.

Picture is great and I can get 93% srgb with my settings mentioned above. So picture is worth it, but none of the extra features even seem to work in a way that would be useable.

Commençons par le positif ! Un projecteur gaming 4k HDR excellent ! Mode gaming parfait 16ms . Film 4k HDR parfait !
