    Made by Eufy who makes really easy to setup wifi doorbell & security cameras & these are no exception.Clear Step by step instructions I was using them 20 minutes after opening the box, remotely switching on & off & setting timer on & off.Figuring out how to schedule the smartplug on & off on date/time or day/time took alot of tinkering with the app, it feels like stuff is hidden a bit in the app but once you figure out in the app it works great.For reference, Iphone app interfaces annoy me compared to Samsung, they feel unintuitive for customizing stuff so maybe the app is intuitive to iphone users I just had to touch every word & picture to figure out if it was a link.Also setting lights to randomly turn on & off during specified hours to make an empty house look occupied is amazing & works well.Overall Ive been vrry impressed by everything put out by Eufy for ease of setup & clear app guidance.

    These are a lot easier to pair to the network than the older Kasa Smart plug and they work great for remote control of just about anything that you connect to them they are only limited to the fifteen-amp circuit but that is all most household receptacles are rated. TP-Link did a great job with the design and function of these. I do not know of any other smart plug that is as easy to use as these and they are very inexpensive.
    I have three oil filled heaters that I connect to them when I am out of town, and I can control them from anywhere that I have a phone signal. One of my heaters is in a utility room off the garage, one is in the garage for some plants and the last one is in my shop in case the old air handler fails.

    I got the 4 pack, have only used two far but both work well. I installed the kasa app on my phone and did initial set up with that. I then opened my alexa app and searched for new devices and it immediatly picked them both up and alexa has been able to operate them no problem.
    Downsides I've encountered:
    The scheduling in the kasa app doesn't at all. I ended up doing a "ruitine" within the alexa app and that worked fine.
    If you change the name/mode of your internet you have to completely remove the plug from the app and reinstall. you cant just update wireless source, password ect. I imagine this would be a pain if you use it to travel or change passwords for security reasons often.

    I’ve used 2-3 of these Kasa mini plugs before for over 2 years and I love them! Decided to order the 4 pack mini Kasa smart plugs and (I don’t know what the Matter plugs are) but I love these smaller mini plugs and work for all my gaming systems or arcade machines that rarely get turned on! So instead of being plugged in full time, their plugged into these with the power off, until I Ask Alexa to turn them on or use the Easy to use Kasa app! Kasa app is smooth and simple to use and I like how fast it works to get in the app and start powering on/off your plugs instead of waiting a long time for the app to load (which I’ll make a Kasa 5 star app review too). Little pricy but for 4 plugs, now I have 6-7 total plugs, I find them more useful for powered plug devices that get turned on a few times a month and save its life cycle and definitely prevents damage from a power outtage (I hope!)

    I have a number of these around the house as I've switched many devices to Smart control. I've also used Kasa Wall Switches without any problems.

    These are TP-Link devices which I've long used in computer equipment so that gives me a good level of comfort already. I've had zero problems with them. Installing is easy. I have both the Kasa App and the Alexa app on my phone. Once Kasa installs the device, Alex sees them also and at that point you add them to any mix of Alexa groups or as an individual device without any problems

    The devices work great and, sorry to say this Amazon, they're much cheaper than Amazon switching devices which I also own a few. I'd prefer the Amazon if the price was right because they're easier to install for one reason only.... When installing the Kasa device you have to pay attention to the instructions and switch the network device to the Kasa during the install. Missing this step is "my" problem in rushing and thinking I knew what to do next (so much for being a computer techie...). When you read and follow the steps as displayed on the phone app... it works fine :-)

    Once configured they just work!!!!.. I also have a set that I use just for Christmas decorations so they are used for 3 months in the year then put away... never had a problem this past Christmas, they just worked as soon as I plugged them in, names still all configured.

    Highly recommend.

    Great idea, good price, but some flaws when using it with google home.

    These smart plugs are very convenient and are quite seamlessly integrated with google smart home. You can control via the home app or by voice, and you almost never have to use the KASA app after you do the initial install.

    We've used them for turning on/off lights on a daily schedule. Things with little draw are perfect for use on these rated plugs. I believe they can do 10amp?

    If you're controlling something like LED bulbs or a watering system, or a fan, then you're good! I wouldn't recommend running a heater, or a heavier duty pump on such a device.

    Here's my main grip:

    I installed my stick vacuum's hanging dock/charging station with one of these smart plugs attached so i could manage when it starts a charge cycle. Let me explain: dyson vacuums have a power boost setting that discharges the battery very quickly and heats up the motor/battery assembly while using this setting. It's not recommended that you put the vacuum on charge directly after using is on boost- it's suggested that you wait 5-10 minutes for it to cool down before charging it. But if you've ever used a stick vac, you'll know that they can't stand on their own, nor should you leave them leaning against a wall. So the most reasonable place to put it is back on its charging dock- but then it starts charging automatically!

    Anyway, with a smart plug, i was anticipating having the dock be unpowered when i place the vacuum in its cradle, and then give a command "google, turn the docking station on in 10 minutes". This way i can set the vacuum down, have it plugged into the charging station, and then allow it to cool down until the 10 minutes are up, and then start charging.

    Google wont allow a these plugs to be turned on using a countdown timer. I don't know why they allow scehdules to control the on/off but not a timer? I'm also not sure if this is an issue with only this type or brand of plug. But it greatly limits my usability of it.

    I'm going to continue using them, but i think the software designer should work on a fix for this!

    He pedido ya varias veces smart plugs y siempre viene uno defectuoso. Estos funcionaron bien los 4 y se ve que son de buena calidad. Lo que si he descubierto es que con los cambios de voltaje que a veces sufrimos se nos han descompuesto otros que hemos comprado así que estos los puse todos en lugares donde ya hay un protector de picos. Los use para programar las luces de navidad, otro para encender lámparas con focos grow light que uso para mis plantas y hasta ahorita no he tenido ningún problema. Lo único es que si me tarde en configurarlos, ya había hecho esto antes pero con estos necesitas usas su aplicación especial y luego me di cuenta que estaba seleccionando mal el tipo de contacto por que me fui por la imagen.
