First off.. ATTENTION ALL WHO ARE NOT VERY TECH SAVVY.. IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT IT HAS ITS OWN VIRUS PROTECTION AND FIREWALL.. YOU MUST DO A CUSTOM INSTALL AND UN-CLICK THE VIRUS/FIREWALL SO IT DOES NOT INSTALL.. IF YOU INSTALL THEM IT MAY CONFLICT WITH YOUR CURRENT VIRUS/FIREWALL SOFTWARE!! To me all the complainers on here that said it caused their computers to freeze or not work is primarily due to the reason I just stated. I have had no issues with this product, it works awesome. It is way better than the product I had before this, and keeps my computer running at peak performance always. It has a lot of bells and whistles so take the time to open all the tabs and set it up the way you want so you get the full benefit out of it and you will be as happy as I am with it. Also, the price is very low for the quality and the best part is when you register the product with IOLO it will immediately update this to its most recent release (version 12) at no extra charge.. A version I might add that the company sells on their website for $60, almost 2x the price you pay here.. Highly recommended!!

Product has no customer support that is of any use to anyone. I installed it into 1, ONE laptop. My owner, then would not install into mine. It would not take the activation number and was supposed to be for multiple use. The "Customer Service" does not respond on their website and the instant chat only works if you bought the product from one of there "Approved Sellers" what I was told..???? The instant chat, was on there site too. A total waste of time on that one. While I have used this product for years and years.. I WOULD NEVER, NEVER WASTE ANOTHER DIME ON THESE FOLKS. I have since went to Avast on one laptop, avira on another, without this nonsense and have no issues at all.

Updates required activation code re entry. Renewal process messed up my computer. Followed instructions and the program never opened and could not be deleted. Contacted tech support number and it is a wierd 1970's sounding recording with old music. Got put on hold for a long time and tech came on, but phone connection was full of static and fragments. Could not communicate due to breaks in line. Sounded like a 2-way radio connection. Tried on line ticket and got no response on it. Searched and found information about many others with similar problems. Restored my computer to previous point in time to get the program off of my computer. Seems like product is kind of homeade and company is far away in China possibly, or India. Their web site has a big warning about imposters stealing info and calling people who have purchased the product to steal and defraud people. There may be undisclosed breaches of customer data. Otherwise, the product did work for me for quite awhile without much problems. The renewal process is what messed it up.

They should clearly state that you are getting a one year license to use the product even if you buy a cd or dvd. After that, it is expired and it does not work. It works as virus protection up to a point. The box says "One year of service...." or something to that effect. Why don't they say: one year license to use this product? It would be more clear that way. Somewhat misleading the way it was presented on the box and by the description in the listing for sale.
