The sound is really solid. It’s driving my ELAC Adante AF-61 150-watt speakers with ease. It has a nice warmth / punchiness to it, yet is very crisp / clear with wide soundstage. Has that traditional British feel / sound. Perhaps it’s the FET transistors. Have been a fan of fet technology for some time, especially in guitar pedals (with 9v old school batteries). This is on a the whole other level. Have it with McIntosh MP100 phone preamp and rega Planar 8 with Alpheta 3 MC cartridge. Loving it. Wondering what it would sound with McIntosh MP1100 tube phono preamp.

What a wonderful little amp. I'm using this amp in my dedicated 2-channel den set-up. Mainly using with a Rega RP8 turntable and Aria phono preamp. Simply put this amp just disappears in the music; not much more to say... If you're looking for an integrated amp with built in DAC and full remote capabilities, move on, this won't fit your bill. However, if you are looking at old school power and simplicity, this is going to be hard to beat. It does what it supposed to and then gets out of the way. I think this one will be here for a while.

Insanely good amplifier. I never thought I’d spend this much on a piece of audio equipment, but it is worth every penny. Make all my speakers sound better than I thought possible.
