I ordered an XBox One. It arrived on-time. I set it up and it worked. On the next day it started making a loud noise like the fan was straining. The Xbox shut down four or five times over the next few days. I contacted the seller and they provided me information about potential cures for the issue. I tried several but when the Xbox shut down again, I asked for a new one. The process for returning was easy. They provided a paid shipping label and I could track it online. I received the new one within a week and it has worked fine. I would do business with this company again. The customer service chat was responsive and helpful.

I will not be buying anything refurbished again. I bought an Xbox in August to which it arrived August 30th, off the bat there were no issues. The Xbox was said to have been play tested and was supposed to be in good working conditions. My first red flag should’ve been how running any game at all the fans would blow crazy loud and it would heat up crazy quick despite the fact that I had cleaned the fans prior to using it. Besides that it ran pretty smoothly until today 12/3, ironically my 90 day return policy just ended on the 30th of November yet my Xbox just suddenly stopped transmitting any picture to my TV. It wasn’t the TV either as we tested another Xbox around the house on it which immediately went through. The xbox I bought randomly developed an HDMI problem which is crazy considering I haven’t messed with that at all. Then as I was trying to figure out what was wrong by just looking at the vents and ports, I heard something loose inside of the Xbox. Long story short think I’m going to have to buy an entirely new Xbox and it certainly will not be from refurbished.

I have two issues that I will address. I’ve never really written a review but I felt I had to for this. First I would like to say this. I have a sort of the OG Xbox one console in white and I started having some personal preference issues such as turning on randomly and slow loading and gaming times. It works great though. But I thought it was time to upgrade so I looked into the one x. Price wise it was a lot so I came across renewed. Long story short I did my research and bought one SOULY FOR THE CONSOLE. HOWEVER there are two main issues with my purchase. Number one is the controller. I understand it’s “used” but the controller I received is trashed. Sticks are down to the plastic, buttons barely work, it’s disgusting in terms of like gunk on it and I’m not happy. And secondly shipping could have been a lot better. I simply received it in a box and the console wrapped in bubble wrap. Could have easily been thrown around and broken but luckily it wasn’t. Overall the console I received was in decent condition better than I expected and so far I have had 0 issues. Came with hdmi and power cable which look brand new. Overall I’m fairly happy but just keep in mind… there USED
