The Pokémon go plus + is a cool product in theory and makes the game much more enjoyable. It will break very quickly regardless of how careful you are or if you buy a case. I’m always on top of charging mine every night. I’ve gone through 2 of these in less than 5 months. It’s really cheap technology that just doesn’t hold up. It’s really frustrating because I do enjoy playing the game and how this changes it for me but I will not spend another 50$ on top of the 100$ I’ve put into these catchers. They likely make the technology terrible on purpose because it’s cheaper and they want you to buy their warranties.

Product works amazing. Only downside is you can't shut the colors off, only the sounds. That's more of a me thing, so it probably won't matter to some. Connectivity seems to be great, have used it over a month with no dropping issues like from the first genrerations of go plus.

If you play Pokemon Go with any regularity I would highly recommend getting one. Being able to automatically catch them without needing to watch your phone constantly is really nice for times you would rather just go on a walk and not have to stare at a screen the entire time. The integration with Pokemon Sleep also works well.

The only issue I have encountered is the Go Plus+ will sometimes become unresponsive, pushing the button will just cause it to flash white once. When this happens I just have to restart the bluetooth on my phone and it starts working again. This is likely more an issue with my phone (Pixel 4a 5G) than the Go Plus+ itself, but something to be aware of.

So I've disabled all of the sounds through the app that would otherwise play through the small speaker on the unit. That doesn't stop it from being obnoxious.

The vibrations on it are a little too strong. It's extremely noisy and distracting if I put this in a pocket with literally anything else in it. Keys? They're going to jingle. Phone or earbud case? It's going to vibrate. Nothing? The motor itself is soooo noisy!

Then the lights. They are bright, they shine through my pants or jacket pockets, and they flash for every notification type. passing a poke stop or found a pokemon nearby? It flashes white. If it fails an auto-catch, it blinks red. If it makes the auto-catch, it starts vibrating a bunch and flashes rainbow. Walking around in a dark park, it's pretty noticeable.

I wish there were ways to disable these two functions without modifying the unit. If that were thought through a bit more, I would have been happier. Like lighter on the haptics or a switch/option to turn them off, as well. And a way to dim the LED's maybe?

Overall, the go plus+ does what it's supposed to and does, at least, let you disable the sounds that come out of the speaker.

is it worth the money ? sure but if you are doing your daily incense don't use it an maybe hold off on community day don't want a possible shundo running off. however over all its pretty good . at times its slow to notice poke stops and at times that's all I care about when driving . if it had the ability to set custom rules then that be great such as a shiny use this ball an this candy to help catch it , also auto catchers shouldn't be a one an done an let the Pokemon flee that is kinda messed up, if you are grinding some thing it be nice if you berry it for more candies all that. the restrictions of it suck but if you just want hands free catches etc then it is pretty good. there is alot to say an know about these but youtbue videos cover all that so i wont .
