You can find it for as cheap as $60
Has Hyper threading which mean it will act and be 85% powerful and like a quad core CPU.
Has a high clock speed of 3.5Ghz
Cons:
Missing some instruction sets that the i3, i5, i7 series chips have (Avx 2.0, etc are missing which really doesn't affect gaming much
200 Mhz slower then the i3 6100 but that will only result in 2-3 fps difference from an i3.
Not compatible with the affordable h110 motherboards unless you have a skylake chip and updated the bios with it. (You need skylake cpu to update the BIOS and then you can use this chip with it) (B250 Motherboards are the cheapest option is you dont already have a skylake cpu and motherboard.)
Other Thoughts:
This Processor has the Best Price to Performance ever seen which 80.92. This Processor would be best paired with the following Graphics cards - gtx 1050 ti, rx 470, gtx 1060 6gb, rx 480 8gb. This cpu and the above gpu's paired with this cpu can pretty much run any game at 30 or 60 fps at high or ultra settings. I just recieved the processor today, I set it up, paired it up with a rx 470, launched battlefield 1. With all settings turned up to ultra and v-sync on i got solid 60 fps and it was just amazing. I switched out this pentium with a skylake pentium (Dual core with no Hyper threading) and even when the settings were cranked down to low, i only got 25 fps and it dropped very frequently. So we can clearly see that the Hyper Threading in this Processor helps alot and boost the performance by a lot. If you want to play at 4k, then you are best to go with gtx 1060 6gb but note that you will only be able to play in medium settings. If you try to pair this CPU with anything higher than a gtx 1060 6gb, you will experience serious and huge bottlenecks and major frame drops. It surprising that a $60 CPU can handle 4k at medium settings with a powerul graphics card without and frame drops!

If you have g3258 or any dual core cpu, it's time for an upgrade!
Main reasons to consider this processor -
1) Has HyperThreading which means that one core will act like two and since this a dual core, the CPU will act like a quad core but don't expect quad core CPU benefits though. This CPU will be like 50-75% better than dual core CPUs that don't have the Hyperthreading Technology that the G4560 does.
2) Equivalent to the i3 6100 which cost almost double the money! (Exact equivalent performance to i3 6100 when paired with 2400mhz ddr4 which makes up for the 0.2 GHz less frequency on the pentium g4560.
3) If you have Netflix and want to watch in 4k this is the perfect upgrade because Netflix will only support their upcoming 4k content on 7th gen kaby lake chips which the Pentium is part of.
4) The price!!!!!
Another person in the review said that this processor would be well paired with a GTX 1060 or a RX 480. I 80% agree with him. It's because this CPU will bottleneck both GPU's in games like battlefield 1 and etc. There can be up to 20% bottlenecking when this CPU is paired with a GTX 1060 or RX 480. Although, if you are planning on upgrading your CPU later to an i5 or even an i7, then go with the GTX 1060. (i3 6100 will bottleneck the GTX 1060 by about 10-15 percent.)
The GPU that would be the best fitted with this card would be an Rx 470 because this CPU has the exact core performance required for no bottleneck in RX 470 GPU. THERE WILL BE 0 BOTTLENECK WITH THIS CPU AND RX 470 COMBO. IT IS THE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. TYE RX 470 IS ABOUT 20% BETTER THAN THE GTX 1050 TI.
On the other hand if your a die hard Nvidia fan and would like to get the best bang for your buck, go with the GTX 1050 TI which will also have no bottlenecks when paired with this CPU.
I can guarantee you that you can play pretty much any game at 60 fps on "high" (not ultra) settings. Some games you can play at 60 fps even on ultra when paired with GTX 1060 6gb and 8gb ram and this CPU! Battlefield, battlefront, ghost recon wildlands beta, GTA v, cod infinite warfare, black ops 3, Skyrim, etc.
With the GTX 1050 to you can play them at high with 30fps.
Note - the CPU can also handle a GPU a little bit more powerful than the GTX 1050 ti.
Additional notes - NOTE - BUY FROM ANTONLINE, THEY HAVE CHEAP PRICE AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU CAN FIND THEM IN MORE BUYING OPTIONS BELOW THE ADD TO CART BUTTON. THE INTEL RECOMMENDED PRICE FOR THIS CPU IS $64 SO DONT BUY IT IF IT IS EVEN A CENT OVER IT. I GOT IT FOR $63. AT THE TIME OF THIS REVIEW, ANTONLINE ON AMAZON HAS IT FOR $61 AND ANTONLINE ON EBAY HAS IT FOR $60 SO DONT BUY FROM ANYONE ELSE AS THEY JUST OVERPICE TYE CPU. IF ITS OUT IF STOCK, THEN JUST WAIT UNTIL ANTONLINE GET IT BACK. DONT PAY FOR AN OVERPRICED ITEM.
The original HP heatsink and fan assembly is much superior to the one Intel includes in its boxed processor, and I uspect the same is true of other makes. The original assembly is screwed in (doesn't use pins), has a thicker/taller heatsink, and a better protected, more substantial looking fan. I was surprised Intel would include something so flimsy looking in the box. It's also got these push-pins to secure the processor that didn't seem to work right; the assembly still slid up and down where it should have been a tight fit. I scraped the pre-applied thermal paste off the new heatsink, and between that and the residual paste left on from the Celeron processor, I was able to cover the transfer surface on the old heatsink adequately. I did some temp checks with a hardware monitor and temps were in the 30's to low 40's C under load, so I think I am good. The processor was recognized and is performing brilliantly with no issues whatsoever. Very pleased.
So, in summary: The processor is awesome. See attached photo (old heatsink is installed over the new processor; the heatsink Intel includes for reference is pictured to the right).

This processor is the best value because its the cheapest processor intel offers with "hyper threading'' technology. What this means is while it does indeed have 2 physical cores being a dual core, it has 4 threads. In other words it can take 4 directions at once and mimic a quad core processor. Why is this important? Because most modern games use the resources of a quad core processor and this acts like one thus getting the best of both worlds in terms of price and performance. Also worth noting this processor is amazing as well for non gamers. It is very snappy and responsive. Intel likely included this hyper threading technology at this price point because of the upcoming threat AMD Ryzen cpu family. This makes us ''the consumer'' win. Absolutely recommended.

Long story short... if you're doing a budget build, this is the CPU to get.
If you wish to buy a Pentium processor, avoid the 6th Gen Pentium G4400 and go for this, the naming of them sound similar and they share the same socket/motherboard, but are quite different in handling multi core workloads.
This is called the budget king because this is the first Pentium since the Pentium 4 to feature hyper threading which was actually a feature only for the Core 'i' series since their launch.
