While I like the quality of sound and the overall comfort level of the headset, they fit very loose around the ears. So much so that I can barely turn my head without the feeling of them slipping off my ears. I would prefer a more snug fit like my old Kraken ones from 2015 which fit my ears better; they’re just falling apart at this point.

First of all these headphones are a lot lighter than I expected, which helps for longer sessions of gaming or work. They come with a usb adaptor for the PC which works well, but also has the potential to work on consoles without this separate adaptor. I have tried these on my PS4 and was very impressed with the sound and mic quality. The mic as mentioned is retractable and when retracted automatically mutes the mic. There is a separate remote on the headphone wire that allows to adjust volume and to mute the mic for when using without the usb adaptor. The usb adaptor has those functions too.

The wire of the headphones is made of a fabric type material and is very good at not tangling, unlike traditional plastic coated wiring.

The ear/head cushions are a tad bulky in size/looks but they are so comfortable, like actual pillows for your ear and head.

Ich habe das Razer Kraken jetzt seit ca. einer Woche und kann daher natürlich nur etwas zu meiner Kurzzeitnutzung sagen.

Das Kraken sind super verarbeitet und kommt in einer typischen Razerverpackung. Ich hatte mir das Headset gekauft, weil ich ein schlichtes Headset fürs Gaming haben wollte.

Das Headset wird dabei mit einem Klinkenanschluss mit dem jeweiligen Gerät verbunden. Im übrigen liegt eine Weiche von Klinke auf Klinke/Mikro und Klinke/Audio dem Gerät bei. Ein Adapter auf USB liegt der Packung nicht bei und müsste separat erworben werden.

Was soll ich sagen, ich bin nicht enttäuscht wurden. Der Klang der Kopfhörer ist super (also für mich als Laien gefühlt besser als bei meinen Vorgängerheadsets). Das Mikrofon, welches sich im linken Kopfhörer „versenken“ lässt, gibt meine Stimme super wieder (ich hatte mir hierfür eine Audioaufnahme von mir angehört).

Der Tragekomfort ist gut bis sehr gut. Die Kopfhörer decken bei mir die kompletten Ohrmuscheln ab. Allerdings muss man sagen, dass dies zu einer deutlichen Erwärmung der Ohren führt. Nie unangenehm, aber man merkt es. Ich habe in der Dauerbenutzung von ca. 4-5 Stunden aber nie das Bedürfnis verspürt, die Kopfhörer wegen zu viel Wärme abzunehmen.

Das Razer kann mit allen Geräten verbunden werden, welche über einen Kopfhörereingang verfügen. Ich habe es an meinem MacBook, an meiner PS 5, am Google Stadia Controler, an meiner Switch, am iPhone und an meiner HiFi - Anlage genutzt.

Selbst im Bereich Musikwiedergabe muss sich das Razer nicht hinter anderen Kopfhörern verstecken. Dadurch das es aber ein Headset ist, kommt es natürlich nicht ganz an die Highend - Kopfhörer von namenhaften Herstellern heran. Das hat mich aber gar nicht gestört.

Alles in allem ist das Razer Kraken für mich das ideale Gaming Headset. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen, der auf schlichte Headsets ohne viel Schnick / Schnack steht.

I have tried a couple of headphones before getting this and by far this is the most comfortable one at this price point. I have big ears and this fits perfectly. Sounds quality is great as well - it came with a 7.1 software code. The wire is a bit tangly but not a big hindrance.
