This is garbage. If you haven't gathered from other reviews.... You have to poke all the holes in where the stars are printed on this cheap flimsy cardboard. Then you have to get all of the dumb flaps to stick together. There's literally not one single positive thing I can say about this.

Looks really cool in the pictures, but when you get it you have to poke in your own holes. I got it for a four year old and thought that we could look at the night sky in his room. It didn't work out that way.

The holes take a very long time to poke, and this kit could be improved if they included the correct size poking tool (such as a thumbtack) instead of having you do it once with a slim tool you find around the house and then again with thicker ones (time consuming, guesswork). When you push the needle/nail/pen/etc. in from the front (where you can see the pattern) it leaves some cardboard poking out the back, which obscures the hole when the light shines from the inside. Even after widening the holes from the inside, the end result were half-circles instead of circles as stars. The kit is a nice idea but poking the holes doesn't help me learn the stars and was unsatisfying busy work. I don't recommend buying this because the process isn't that fun and then the end result is meh. What I do like is the creation of the sphere and that they are real constellations.
