Holds my 12 yr old daughter's surface pro in main compartment perfectly with ~0.5" of space from zipper on each side. and has nice soft material on inside to prevent scratching. The exterior pocket has a zipper to hold smaller things like the charger and her surface pen. The pocket isn't very big or stretchy so it won't hold a ton of stuff but it holds the essentials. The zipper is nice for peace of mind that that stuff won't slip out. The exterior material is sturdy enough to handle sliding, mild scratching, and movement but still has a nice feel to touch. The case is not hard but does feel like it has some padding inside and does hold shape when you open it up. It's by no means a bullet proof case, but it will protect the contents inside from reasonable use and wear.
My daughter loves this case as the colors are great and the handle makes taking the surface to different places a breeze. I also like that the case is small enough that it can fit in the laptop compartment of some larger laptop bags or backpacks for extra protection during travel. This is a great minimal case for anyone just looking to protect a small laptop or larger tablet.

Barely fits my IPad Pro 5th generation
It looks very nice, & it’s exactly what I was looking for, but it’s a very tight fit for my iPad Pro 5th generation with keyboard, especially, if I keep the digital pencil attached to It via the magnet. I can put the pencil in the outside pocket, but I wish it would easily fit inside. This case was the best I could find though.
