From the manufacturer
3D NAND Flash
The SU800 solid state drive lives up to its Ultimate name with 3D NAND Flash that provides higher storage density, efficiency, and reliability than traditional 2D NAND. It features intelligent SLC caching and a DRAM cache buffer to boost read/write performance even further. Featuring LDPC ECC and technologies such as high TBW (total bytes written) and DEVSLP (Device Sleep), the Ultimate SU800 instantly upgrades notebook and desktop PCs with superior stability, durability, and power efficiency. In addition, users can download ADATA in-house developed SSD Toolbox and Migration Utility software for free to enjoy easy data management and migration.
Intelligent SLC Caching and DRAM Cache Buffer
New generation 3D NAND Flash Implementing advanced 3D NAND Flash, the Ultimate SU800 features bigger storage capacities, higher efficiency, and rugged reliability with better cost-performance ratios than ever. The Ultimate SU800 reaches read/write speeds of 560MB/s and 520MB/s *to accelerate PCs.
Wide Capacity Range And High TBW Thanks to the flexibility of 3D NAND, we can offer the Ultimate SU800 in diverse capacities, ranging from 128GB to 2TB. You get more choices for different needs, whether for an OS boot drive or a mass storage drive. All Ultimate SU800 models provide high TBW (Total Bytes Written), meaning the number of times an SSD can write its entire capacity in one lifespan. The Ultimate SU800’s TBW rating outranks comparable models, indicating a longer-lasting SSD.
Intelligent SLC Caching and DRAM Cache Buffer
The intelligent SLC caching algorithm allows NAND Flash memory to operate in single-level cell mode and boosts read/write performance. In addition, with the support of DRAM Cache Buffer, read/write performance can be as much as double that of solid-state drives that lack a DRAM cache, or in other words that can't use system memory as an SSD buffer for high-intensity tasks.
* Performance may vary based on SSD capacity, host hardware and software, operating system, and other system variables.
Lower Power Consumption, Longer Battery Life
The Ultimate SU800 supports DEVSLP (Device Sleep) technology for better energy efficiency. This results in lower electricity costs and prolonged battery life. Compared to traditional HDDs, the Ultimate SU800 consumes just 8% of the power while in idle mode, and 80% less power during regular operation. For users who often travel or go on business trips, the Ultimate SU800 is a great partner with high mobility and power-saving abilities that go easy on notebook batteries
Easily fits in either a laptop or a desktop
RAID Engine and Data Shaping for Ultimate Protection
By supporting RAID Engine and Data Shaping, the Ultimate SU800 ensures data integrity and delivers extended SSD lifespan for better, longer-lasting stability and return on investment.
Outperforms HDDs with Massive Performance Gain Utilizing high-quality materials and advanced technologies, the Ultimate SU800 outperforms traditional HDDs by a huge factor, with particular benefits in boot up and seek time, as well as overall much faster read/write throughput.
Proprietary Software - SSD Toolbox and Migration Utility
Every Ultimate SU800 purchase qualifies for free downloads of ADATA SSD Toolbox and Migration Utility. SSD Toolbox allows users to monitor and manage the Ultimate SU800, with drive status, wear level, and lifespan information. Data migration utilities are especially helpful for users making the move from HDD to SSD, as they are designed for simple and quick backup and migration of the contents of entire drives, including the operating system.

I find it very reliable, very responsive when retrieving documents, and I am able to do things like write programs while blasting my music, stored on the SSD (I have close to 5000 songs loaded on my card) and using the VLC player, I've created playlists where I can just leave the songs crank on my three-speaker system that was part of one of my windows PC media centers, so it has its own power source and doesn't draw it from the raspberry PI card, and right and run my own code.
I've been running it now for close to three weeks nonstop as I now use my raspberry PI as my main computer, and I've had no issues with the memory card at all. I've had no lost files I've had no corrupted areas, and the SSD card comes up immediately.
The only thing I wish I could've done differently, and this is due to my inexperience in Raspberry and forgetful of my UNIX days, is to properly set the card up so that my device just boots from the microSD card and everything else is stored on the SSD memory. What I wish I could've done differently was as soon as I created the first partition was to format the SSD into a 1TB partition rather than let it create thousands of partitions as I add new files and programs.
No I gave this card a three star rating or ease of installation because when you look at the photo and the lack of anything in the description, it seemed like it would fit one of the cases that I purchased, but when I got it I was rudely awakened to the fact that it does not fit. So my advice to you is unless you plan to 3D print your own case, if you are used to an open air system for your raspberry PI, then this actually would be a five star installation. But be careful when trying to purchase a case to enclose this SSD card. My next raspberry PI will use the shorter SSD cards and they will fit in a double height case.
Historically, I have been somewhat of a brand snob for storage WD Black & Hitachi Deskstar for HDD’s and Samsung EVO/EVO Pro for SSD’s. But was looking for an economical and practical upgrade for a secondary system for web surfing, email, and online shopping. I had not heard of the ADATA brand before but after reading the great reviews on ADATA, I decided to give it a chance. So far I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
The Pros:
• Much less expensive than the Samsung 850 EVO - 120GB
• Massive boot speed improvement over HDD alone
• Super fast and free shipping with Prime
The Cons:
• Drive is fine for OS install – but need to keep files and other large programs and data on a second drive (looking at you MS Office and Overwatch)
• Warranty is 3yr versus 5yr/75TB for Evo
Pro tips:
• You may need to buy a HDD to SSD mounting kit like the Icy Dock ICY DOCK 2.5" to 3.5" SAS / SATA HDD & SSD Converter / Mount / Kit / Adapter - EZConvert MB882SP-1S-2B
• If you have a SFF (small form factor PC or laptop) and/or are transferring an entire existing boot drive to a new SSD - buy a USB 3.0 to SSD SATA cable – it’s probably the best $8 you’ll ever spend for computer hardware Sata Cable - Lumsing USB 3.0 to SSD / 2.5-Inch SATA cable Hard Drive Adapter [Optimized For SSD, Support UASP SATA III ]
• There are multiple freeware apps to help with system transfer. However, I had to shrink my C partition to the same size of the new SSD in order for the copy program that I selected (EaseUS Disk Copy) to work
• Caution! You may run into “unmovable blocks” that prevent shrinking your primary drive to 128GB. You will need to turn off hibernation mode and/or reduce virtual memory size to zero in order to complete the shrink. Took me a couple hours to figure that out – hope to save you some time and aggravation.

Es solo mi experiencia, insisto, gracias el e-commerce y marketing digital, espero les sea de utilidad.
