Not worth your money. I wouldn’t even gift it.
Over the years, Turtle Beach has been my go-to brand. Their headsets are usually great quality and at a fair price. So when my px24s started rattling (after a fair 5 year run of abuse) I decided it was time to retire them and get a new headset in time for the launch of my favorite and most-anticipated upcoming game. I wanted the best audio quality I could get within my budget to fully immerse myself in the game’s world, and my past experiences led me to believe the newer Turtle Beach headsets would surpass my older models.Boy, was I wrong. The ability to take calls while in a game without having to switch headsets or stop what you were doing was what originally sold me, and even that doesn’t work. The call will cut out, or if we’re using Skype, the person on the other end slows waaaaaaayyyyyyyy dooooowwwnnnn and goes robotic, and it only ever happens when I’m using this headset. I switch to Speaker on my phone and it’s back to normal. Go back to the headset, and it’s immediately back to robot sloth. And this is while keeping the headset’s software and firmware up to date. I check regularly in hopes that something will be fixed. It never is.Now for the actual headset itself. The bass is incredible when you’re able to trigger it. Listening to music through the headset directly (spotify to headset for instance) makes it have a sort of tinny sound, where listening to it through my console (spotify playing on PS4 with headset connected to PS4) gives it a clear and rich sound. Well, as clear and rich as this headset can muster. The first time I put on the headset after making sure it was updated and synced properly, I immediately noticed the audio quality wasn’t as great as it had been in my last pair. With the PX24, the sound was natural and sounded like it was in the room with you. With the Stealth 700, it’s like taking two cellphone speakers and pressing them to your ears. You can hear things clearly, but it’s obvious it’s coming through a speaker, which breaks the immersion of any game.Over time I was able to overlook that discrepancy, and I’ve even been able to enjoy my games and music with the headset. Especially in Red Dead Redemption2, the audio comes through so beautifully, and the bass is wonderful. Of course, this doesn’t carry over for everything. Even in songs that I know have deep bass, I don’t get the same impact I could with other headsets. My Apple earbuds have better sound quality than these things do. And I even have my settings for music and bass boosted.Another thing: Unless you have the optics cable plugged in, good luck getting ANY audible variance. The volume on everything will be so quiet, and the audio quality will be even worse. You also won’t have as much control as you do with the optics cable.I do love that you can control game and chat volumes independently. That is one thing this headset has going for it. Sometimes I want to hear my friends and the game is too loud, even with my party chat prioritised and game volume down. With other headsets, if you increase the volume to try and hear your friends, you increase the volume for everything. And in this headset especially, that calls for a lot of feedback looping.Which is another thing: The mic is so short and sensitive that it picks up everything. My bird across the room playing with a tiny bell. The people upstairs walking across the floor. The small farting noise my foot makes when I adjust my sitting position and grind it into the leather of my couch. Actual farts. Everything. All of your secrets will be broadcast for your team to hear. And forget about the noise cancelling, because now (unless you’re speaking loudly) no one can hear you or you’ll keep breaking up because the microphone is positioned so far away from your mouth that your normal speaking voice will be cancelled out. You can’t adjust the position of the microphone, either. And let’s talk about how absolutely NOISY this headset is. It creaks and snaps and pops with every little movement you make. Turn your head? CRACK. Yawn? SNAP! CRACK! Adjust the fit even slightly? Armageddon. Oh and do you want to use your headset and mic while charging? Prepare to have background buzzing that’ll give you a headache and show up in all of your video clips that you save. And that’s if you can even get the headset to stay on while you’re charging it. At first it worked fine, but lately, it won’t even stay on. It shorts out, there’s an electrical squeak like when an old tv would turn off, and then it’s dead. Try to turn it back on, it’s immediately off again. I thought it was the cable going out, because my controller had started doing the same thing, but it turns out that was just a coincidence, as multiple cords were tested and it still acts the same. The battery life is 3 hours at best, which isn’t ideal for gaming sessions. Especially not when it can’t even handle being charged and used at the same time. It also disconnects from the console all the time, and pairing is a pain in the ass, since you need to find something small enough to press the reset button and then hope you hold the power button long enough to pair it. It shuts off randomly, as well, which can cause it to come unpaired. My PX24 wasn’t as good as my PX21, but it was a hell of a lot better than the Stealth 700. Needless to say, now that I have to replace BOTH of my headsets, I’m going with a different brand this time.I wouldn’t waste your money. Maybe if this was a $30 headset I could potentially justify the flaws, but $120 feels like an absolute ripoff. I wasn’t completely thrilled with it in my first impressions but I figured I would get used to it and it would grow on me, but no. I bought this headset in October 2018 and here we are in June 2019, 8 months later, and I not only hate the headset, but It didn’t even last 1 year before breaking. My old headsets from the same brand lasted 5 years — one even lasted 9!! But this one couldn’t even handle 8 months.Save your money and buy a better headset. Don’t get this one.

Really good headset but I feel as if it’s a bit overpriced. But overall, a huge step up from the stealth 600. I like how you can change the audio settings to what you’re comfortable with (boosting bass, signature sound, bass and treble boost, and vocal boost) I personally set the preset to bass and treble boost. And the active noice cancellation feature prevents me from raising my voice while playing in the late hours or from talking to loud into the mic. And the super human hearing, haven’t used it yet because I’m not much of a competitive gamer but my friends who have the stealth 600 and 700 seem to like it a lot, they say it’s “OP” when playing rainbow six siege. And the Bluetooth capability is amazing, I use these to listen to music on my phone all the time, the sound quality is amazing (as expected from turtle beach). Overall, I would highly recommend this headset to everyone looking for a universal headset.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Stealth 700+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

(Nachtrag vom 28.12.2020 ganz unten!)

z.B: Power on,Bluetooth on etc..

Vielen Dank euer Michael
