I only use it to count steps, which is all I am interested in recording. It uploads Steps etc to the Garmin Connect app, which in turn syncs with Apple Health.
The "Steps" info is easily readable on the small display; the product seems bulletproof; the battery lasts a long time. I got a jeweler to replace the battery: I didn't have a screwdriver small enough to remove the four tiny Philips head screws.
Good product.
My favorite features of this watch are the long battery life and step goal streak tracking. This watch enabled me to keep a baseline level of walking for 2+ years, reaching a few 200+ day streaks and greatly improved my baseline fitness. My approach was to set a very achievable baseline daily goal (6000 steps) and then try to consistently hit that every day.
Based on the above, I would give this watch 5 stars. However it is not durable enough, hence the score I gave.
PROS:
Great battery life. Consistently 1 year-plus. Can take it to a watch shop to replace when the battery dies, or try yourself. No need to charge or take off, just use it.
Has step goal setting and tracking. In addition, it keeps track of how many days you've hit your goal and gives a fun sound and animations when you hit it.
Can set the watch to sync steps to your phone and configure it that way. I set the sync setting to about once a day to avoid extra battery use. It's fun to see the step progress over time and to hit various goals.
Has a small backlight that you can activate, which is helpful for seeing at night. I like the aesthetic of the color e-ink display (useful for having long battery life.)
Some degree of sleep tracking, and useful since you don't need to take it off to charge.
Seems water resistant. Can at least shower with it.
Lightweight. I wear it alongside a watch that has a stronger backlight and stopwatch features.
CONS:
It's not very durable. As previously stated, I have had to purchase multiple watches.
Failure modes I've encountered:
- Steps get discarded [!]. For example, I notice that I'm 250 steps less than an hour before, or I hit the goal and have to keep hitting it. These are the most frustrating since that is the main point of the watch and means I'm going to have to buy another one.
- Screen gets scrambled or turns off. Also means the watch is going bad.
- Audible high pitched noise when activating backlight (not a dealbreaker)
- Strap breaking (this is reasonable)
The first time I chalked this up to me replacing the battery and it getting water in it, but it even happens without much water exposure or without changing the battery. My best approach now is to avoid swimming with it, since I'm not getting steps then anyway.
There's no warning when the battery is running out or will run out. The watch just turns off.
Overall I got a lot of value out of this watch, and compared to top-end smart watches it is not too expensive. So for about a year of zero maintenance step counting, you may consider it worth it.
Overall, I would say look for something else. Maybe the next generation. Prior I had the vivofit 2 and it was was great for years. Replaced it when the lights on it started going out and I couldn't read the numbers as well (think it reading 9 when it should be in 8, but the bottom left light was out)

Pareciera algo complejo configurarlo al principio, de ahí en más parece que funcionó muy bien.
El precio y la calidad de los materiales son justos.
