This really is a nice piece of kit. Quality in design and workmanship. Sturdy where it counts. Easy to use. Lightweight - I carried this on my bag all over NYC one afternoon and didn't even notice the weight. Easy to adjust, love the multiple bubbles, and the quality of all of the adjusting points.
It's definitely not as cheap as some tripods out there, especially the random companies making stuff on Amazon. But it isn't that much more, and you're going to get a tripod that will last.

I got the tripod fast but returned after some defect.
I received the Travis tripod and opened up and extended the set up and quite impressed with the sturdy tripod and fairly not so heavy and very suitable extended height of 1.65m for my height at 1.78m and above 1.82 m guys. But I got this one the washer stopper stucked at center column and I could not pressed down to lower the center column. I did contacted Three legged support help desk and did replied me that washer stopper can be pressed down and it blocked the column from adjusting height. I finally returned it as I could not adjusted it and Amazon accepted my returned but refund me to wrong card the gift card. Hence I need to update them again to request back to my original payment card. I give a 4 stars instead of higher rating as the center column issues why the seller did not checked carefully before sending the goods to Amazon wharehouse. Otherwise the tripod and ball head I really like the product . I would consider again next time to order maybe smaller size Corey instead. The ballhead work quite well despite some people found it not so good.

I was looking for a new tripod for all around use, lightweight but strong. I have been getting into the big lenses lately and they are a little heavy for handheld use, so I was also looking for a monopod, this is the best of both worlds in my opinion, and it works well with the sigma 60-600mm lens no problem.

This Tripod is sturdy enough for any type of photography including long exposure astro-photography. The end user is able to take it apart with the supplied toolz and service/clean their tripod. It folds up nice and small at just 17" and 3.6 lbs to make a perfect all around tripod. Using it on a rocky beach or grassy fields has been a pleasure so far.
