I've been looking for a robovac for what seems like an eternity. They've always been too expensive or had poor reviews or seemed to be limited in some other way. Then Alexa came into my life and I decided I would only get a robovac if it could work with her. And thus the search began anew.
Again I was faced with all sorts of issues...cost, small capacity, they were too tall to get underneath the sofa, whatever.
Then I bought a Eufy HomeVac and was blown away by the quality and customer service. I was talking to Kevin one day about a small issue he was helping me with when I mentioned robovacs and if they were going to make one that worked with Alexa. He got really excited and told me all about the new model that had just dropped.
I rushed back to Amazon and found it...on sale no less. I couldn't resist using a bit of my tax return on it.
WOW!!
It took about 10 minutes to get the app set up and linked with my wifi, and then to Alexa. I named him "Alfred."
Alfred is just about the best assistant I've ever had. He's got a great work ethic, hits all the corners, doesn't leave anything behind. With ample capacity I am both amazed and disgusted by how much pet and dirt he picks up. haha
It took a bit of effort to figure out exactly how to get Alexa to wake him up. That's really the only "knock" against it.
Instead of saying "Alexa, ask Alfred to start cleaning" I have to refer to him by his birth name: RoboVac. She then replies "Ok. Asking RoboVac Alfred to start cleaning." And just like that, off he goes to do his thankless task...well, not thankless in my house. I adore him.
He runs the house every day when I get home and it makes such a difference when it comes time to pull out my full-size machines for the weekend chores.
The build quality is excellent. My toddler adores vacuums even more than I do and he gets more than a little too excited when Alfred starts his shift. My son follows him around the house "feeding" him a stray leaf that may have blown in through a door or whatever. Sometimes he wants Alfred to go in a different direction so he'll push him. Alfred seems impervious to toddlers...huge plus at my house.
One of the biggest selling features for me is his height. He's short enough that he can get underneath my sofa and underneath the baseboards in the kitchen as well as under a large cabinet I have...all obviously tough to reach spaces when working with a regular vacuum.
I am also very impressed with how quiet Alfred is when he's working. Even on the max setting (there are three settings: normal, IQ, and Max) Alfred doesn't ever get so loud that it overpowers conversations. No shouting needed. On the regular setting he sounds like a white noise machine.
I had to play around with positioning the home base but that was more about finding a spot that I could keep my son away from when Alfred was charging than it was a matter of making sure Alfred could easily make his way back.
I've found that sometimes I was a little too impatient with him as far as waiting for him to go back home. There have been a couple times where I thought "Jeez, he doesn't know where he's going" but after giving him a few moments he did find his way right back.
It's incredible actually. Absolutely incredible...we're living in the future.
I actually want to get at least one more at this point. I have a giant room in my house that is "sunk in" and thus Alfred can't get there unless I pick him, let him work, and then bring him back. A second one, a playmate of sorts, could handle that side? I dunno...maybe it's just the thought of unleashing my very own army of robots upon the world's filth.
Regardless, buy with confidence. I am simply blown away by how good this machine is. Build quality, suction, capacity, dimensions, Alexa, customer service...oh and they throw in replacement brushes and filters right off the bat. Great company, great product...for a fantastic price compared to those "other" robot vacs that have been around a while.

Works well at a great price, but eufy Customer Support is the best reason to buy this product
This robovac has exceeded my expectations and is an excellent value, but the primary motivation for writing this review (and what gives me even more hope for future improvements in the product line) is the extraordinary customer support exhibited by this company. I have always heard good things about Anker/Eufy support, but this is the first time I've experienced it first hand. The support I've received has been very responsive and always helpful and respectful (which you would think should be a given, but has often not been the case with other companies, in my experience).I emailed support because I was unable to get the robovac to connect to my Amplifi HD router for initial setup. All symptoms indicated that it was actually connecting, but it never got an IP address; it seemed that something was preventing the initial setup from completing. I had tried quite a few variations already, and support was able to suggest some more things to try. They tested with an Amplifi HD in their lab and found no issues, so they immediately sent me a replacement. When that arrived, but also did not connect to my network, I knew I had to think harder about what could be different about my network setup. It eventually dawned on me that while most of the Amplifi configuration is done via their mobile app, they do also have a (single) web configuration page for options that are not exposed via the app. I found that two options enabling 802.11k and 802.11v on that page were checked, so I unchecked them and the robovac immediately connected! I was then able to re-check the two options and my robovac has continued to connect, so apparently those options only interfered with the initial setup.I have remained in contact with their support as I have had other minor questions and issues, and their responses consistently indicate that they are genuinely appreciative of the feedback and will do whatever they can to listen to and try to answer/resolve anything that comes up.As for the robovac performance itself, I have been happy with it's ability to clean our floors (as others have noted, it's not the most "intelligent" option, but works well for the price, and I do expect it can get better as the company gains more experience with robovacs) -- it does seem more powerful than the 11+ and the boundary strips work well to keep it away from our dog's bowls, as well as inside rooms when we want it to clean only certain areas. The app is fairly rudimentary, but it does everything I need and I have had no problems with it, either. Setting it up with Alexa was easy, although I do not envision us using that skill very often. The remote control is a welcome bonus. All together, I believe this is a very complete solution and a terrific value!
