Can I connect Nanoleaf Shapes with the Nanoleaf Light Panels or Nanoleaf Canvas?

No, the Nanoleaf Shapes are not compatible with Light Panels or Canvas. You can connect any shapes together - Hexagons, Triangles,& Mini Triangles. All of our products can operate together in the Nanoleaf App even if they're not physically connected.

How panels are mounted to the wall? Will they damage my wall?

Mount your panels with the included double-sided tape onto any smooth and flat surface. When you mount them, leave the ends of the tape sticking out from the Mounting Plate so you can pull them along the wall later for a safe and easy removal.

Are Nanoleaf lights waterproof?

No, Nanoleaf products are NOT waterproof or water resistant. Our lights and adhesives are not designed to be exposed to high levels of humidity, and are therefore not recommended to be placed in washrooms, near the sink in kitchens, or outdoors.

What is the difference between a Smarter Kit and an Expansion Pack?

Every Nanoleaf Smarter Kit has everything you need to set up the lights. It includes a Controller and a Power Supply unlike Nanoleaf Expansion Packs. An Expansion Pack is an addition to a Smarter Kit which cannot be used without owning a Smarter Kit.

What is the maximum amount of panels that will work with the included 42W Power Supply?

The maximum amount of panels per included Power Supply is 22 for the Hexagons, 28 for the Triangles, and 77 for the Mini Triangles. If you are ever in doubt, check out the PSU Calculator on our website.

    I love the lights themselves. They're able to get brighter than I expected. So far their connectivity seems to be reliable. However, the adhesive that comes with these is awful. I wouldn't even bother using it. At first i was trying to mount all 19 that I bought with them and some would stay but others would not, and those would drag the others down too. Then I decided to mount the first one with screws and then i tried adhesive with the rest. That lasted about a week and then half of them came down. Very annoying...

    Bright, colorful and a lot of fun. Just make absolutely certain you install where you want your system the first time, and don't plan on moving it at all—EVER—unless you're willing to patch and paint the damaged walls when you attempt to remove these.

    The old Nanoleaf systems used the Command pull tabs to mount, which I suspect led to panels falling off the walls after a few years. These newer systems use a sticky goo adhesive. I had a few panels that I wanted to move and quickly found that after being mounted for only a few scant minutes that they could not be removed without pulling up paint and plaster. So consider your configuration, if on a painted wall reasonably permanent, or prepare to paint & patch.

    Die beigefügten Klebepads halten auch auf Rauputz. Hier sollte man jedoch die untersten Shapes in der Wand verdübel, was relativ einfach möglich ist.
    Die Verbinder halten sehr stabil und mit den ca. 10cm langen Flexverbindern (bestellbar) lassen sich über Eck Konstruktionen abbilden.
    Viele installierbare Farbschemen und Verläufe stehen zur Verfügung. Der musikabhängige Farbwechsel ist super.
