I bought this computer in December but did not start using it until the end of January because I was thinking of returning it but decided in the end to keep it. After using it for just over a month (March 1), I had my first issue with the wifi. HP help desk helped me reset using the Bios and told me that my issue was that a recent update had caused an issue. They got the wifi to work again. The issue occurred again in June. Tech support helped with a Bios update and checked for drivers and had me install any recent updates for the drivers. They told me I should not have an issue anymore because the drivers were updated. The same issue occurred again at the end of July. I had to call tech support. They reset the network adapter then had me download another driver and told me that I should not have an issue anymore because the drivers will automatically update. I am really concerned because my warranty is about to be up in another 4 months and I have had to all the helpdesk 3 times within less than a year of purchasing this device. To extend the warranty, I will need to pay $300+ which in some cases could buy a cheap laptop. I am really disappointed with this product after spending nearly $1000 on this laptop and then being asked to pay an additional $300 to extend the warranty on what I consider to be a subpar product. I have never had so many issues with the cheaper computers I typically get.
